Cambridge Architectural Unveils Hudson, A Metal Mesh System
Designed for Parking Facades

–Stainless Mesh Fabric is An Economical Alternative to Perforated Metal–

Cambridge, Maryland, April 21, 2016 — Cambridge Architectural has introduced Hudson, a new stainless steel mesh pattern and exterior cladding system designed for parkade facades.

With an open area of 82 percent, Hudson provides a high level of ventilation with a flat wire thickness still capable of screening indirect sunlight and exterior views from the street.

Hudson panels can span large vertical surfaces with minimal intermediate structure required. Because of the nature and openness of the flexible mesh weave, the load is carried at the top and bottom of each panel.

Paired with Cambridge’s pre-engineered Eclipse, Scroll or Eye-Bolt attachment hardware, the Hudson mesh system facilitates easy installation to exact specifications.

The openness of the stainless steel fabric makes Hudson an economical alternative to perforated metal systems. Ease of installation, and reduced structural and attachment costs provide even more incentive for architects, contractors and parking operators to choose a mesh solution.

Cambridge has produced metal mesh systems for parking structures facades throughout North America. Projects in the past year include parkades at: University Medical Center New Orleans; Samsung Research Center Parking Garage in Mountain View, CA.; and the Universities at Shady Grove, Rockville, MD.
