SKIDATA, Inc. announces the successful implementation of their 3M Asset Refreshment Program.

Hillsborough, NJ January 17, 2017 SKIDATA, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of SKIDATA AG is pleased to announce the successful implementation of their 3M Asset Refreshment Program by their partner, Linkology, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Linkology, USA, a long-time SKIDATA distributor has just completed the implementation of the 3M Asset Refreshment Program at a large garage in Cincinnati, Ohio. The implementation was completed as a proof of concept to ensure full functionality as designed. With the success of the 3C Payment EMV installation on one Pay In Lane terminal and integration with one Power Pad, the site will begin preparing for the implementation of this solution across the entire facility which includes 18 PILs, 17 Power Pads, and 18 Columns.

This is an exciting phase in the process of beginning to transition these sites using SKIDATA’s custom designed solutions. Toby Asbury, CEO of Linkology described his enthusiasm for this project, “This solution is of enormous value to our customers. SKIDATA’s proprietary technology gives our customers the unique option of continuing to operate automated facilities with Federal/3M equipment in a PCI compliant manner. It also provides for a phased migration path to a world class fully supported revenue control system – SKIDATA.”

SKIDATA’s 2015 purchase of 3M’s Parking Business software (EFMS, ScanNet) and firmware, along with PARCS equipment drawings gave them exclusive rights to develop and produce 3M’s parking products (formerly known as Federal APD). The 3M Asset Refreshment Program has been developed to offer existing sites the ability to run 3M / FAPD hardware with SKIDATA software (Parking.Logic) or migrate to SKIDATA hardware.  This program extends the life cycle of current equipment and allows for sites to accept credit cards equipped with PA DSS validated terminals.

SKIDATA is passionate about its commitment to deliver superior, reliable, and trend setting solutions. We are ready to help our customers to unlock the power of SKIDATA.
