Buffalo, NY – Drivers in Buffalo, NY, are receiving yet another convenient way to pay for parking.

Passport, the parking payment app that provides technology nationwide to millions of customers, has partnered with Allpro Parking to provide services for over 1,400 spaces across the Buffalo area. This includes 10 off-street parking lots.

Drivers can simply download the PassportParking app and pay for parking securely by adding a debit or credit card. With the PassportParking app, customers can:

  • Search for parking
  • Pay securely through the app or mobile web
  • Monitor parking sessions
  • Receive alerts
  • Extend parking from the app (up to the maximum allotted time)
  • View parking history

Coming soon, residents and visitors can download PassportParking for free from the iPhone App Store and Android Google Play. For added convenience, customers can also manage their parking online at ppprk.com by using their mobile web services.

Mobile technology is changing the way people commute in and around cities. From mobile ticketing apps for public transit to finding and paying for parking, the smartphone is at the center of the activity. Passport develops and deploys transportation apps in cities throughout North America, including Chicago, Boston, Detroit and Toronto. It also powers public transit purchases in cities such as Miami, Jacksonville, and Cleveland.

“Passport is a great technology partner for Allpro Parking. With over 140 locations in three (3) states, we have many customers that can benefit from the added convenience of paying through their smartphone. We’re excited to bring this industry-leading technology to our great customers in Buffalo, NY, and look forward to rolling out in other markets we operate in,” said Richard A. Serra, President and Chief Executive Officer.

PassportParking will be available for Allpro lots in Buffalo starting in early January.
