SKIDATA, Inc. announces new contract for city of Scranton, PA
Hillsborough, NJ June 14th, 2017 SKIDATA, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of SKIDATA AG is pleased to announce their newest contract for a citywide installation in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
The city of Scranton, Pennsylvania is experiencing a surge in growth and redevelopment and SKIDATA is proud to be selected for their multiple facility installation. This contract is more than just a project as SKIDATA will expand into the area by staffing a full-time service engineer to install and support this citywide installation.
When the city and ABM Parking Services decided to improve on their outdated and obsolete 3M Federal APD system, they could have gone with SKIDATA’s asset refreshment program specifically designed for these aging sites, but instead they envisioned a technologically advanced parking system that would only be possible with a full suite of SKIDATA products.
The project consists of six parking facilities all managed by ABM Parking Services. There will be 33 lanes of equipment and 11 POF’s. The city will benefit from a great cross section of SKIDATA products and services including Power.Gate and Lite.Gate entry and exit columns, Easy.Cash and Credit.Cash Pay on Foot devices as well as the advanced web-based products sweb.Validate, sweb.Contract, and sweb.Reports.
