November 18, 2015 – Passport continues to grow its presence in the Chicago area with upcoming launches along the Metra line in Prospect Heights, Riverside, and Fox Lake this winter season. All locations will offer Passport mobile pay at their Metra Station Lots.

Passport’s solution allows users to pay for parking from the convenience of their smartphone or tablet, giving Metra riders an easier option of making credit card payments. This launch partners the Village of Riverside, City of Prospect Heights, and the Village of Fox Lake with Charlotte, NC-based Passport and Chicago, IL-based Total Parking Solutions.

“We’re thrilled to expand our presence along the Metra line,” said Michael Rafferty, Vice President of Enterprise Implementations at Passport. “Our app is a convenient way for Metra riders to park, pay, and board as quickly as possible.”

Users can get started by downloading the free PassportParking app from the iPhone App Store and Android Google Play. Users can also register online at ppprk.com.

Passport was selected to provide this mobile parking payment solution for Prospect Heights, Riverside, and Fox Lake after successful launches in over 15 Chicago suburbs, including Evanston, Oak Lawn, Skokie, and Oak Park. Passport also developed ParkChicago, Chicago’s mobile parking payment application.
