Parkmobile USA, Inc. Announces Charley DeBow as Vice President of Sales for the Northeast Region

Atlanta, Georgia, September 25, 2014– Parkmobile USA, Inc., the leading provider for on-demand and prepaid mobile payments for on- and off-street parking, announced today that Charley DeBow has joined the team as Vice President of Sales for the Northeast Region. He will be responsible for expanding Parkmobile’s growing footprint in the Northeast for the U.S. Mr. DeBow has built extensive knowledge and experience in the parking industry, and is widely recognized as a municipal technology and innovation leader.

Before Charley DeBow joined Parkmobile, he was formally the Director of Municipal Parking for the Borough of State College. He managed both the on-street and offstreet operations as well as serving as the Borough’s parking liaison to multiple civic organizations. Under Charley’s direction, The Borough of State College was the first in the United States to utilize a License Plate Enabled parking ecosystem. Parkmobile mobile payments, along with its integrated partners T2 (Flex ticketing and back-office platform), Digital Payment Solutions (Pay by Plate multi-space meters), and Genetec (License Plate Recognition), provided the key software and hardware components to effectively operate the LEP system. The LEP system has shown a reduction in customer service issues as well as a significant increase in revenues for the Borough.

Prior to his municipal service, he worked for 5 years for a private parking company in both Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. He is a Board Member of the Pennsylvania Parking Association, as well as the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a B.A. in Administration of Justice.
