Portland Parks & Recreation’s Washington Park Introduces New, Free Pay-by-Phone Parking App, Passport
Pay or add more parking time from inside any Washington Park attraction (or inside your car) using your phone or mobile device

Visitors enjoying Washington Park will soon be able to say goodbye to rushing back to the parking lot to feed the meter. Portland Parks & Recreation (PP&R) and the Washington Park Transportation Management Association (WPTMA) have partnered with mobile payment specialists, Passport, Inc. to offer a free, mobile parking payment service throughout all of Washington Park’s metered parking spaces. The new PassportParking app is an alternative to paying at the meter, comes at no cost for drivers to use, and will provide the convenience and ease of paying to park or adding more time from smart phones. The application is free to download, and users will not be charged any fee to use the system.
What: Pay for parking in Washington Park with any mobile device. Avoid lines at pay stations. Add time from anywhere in the park with cell service, including inside the park’s world-class attractions.

Where:Washington Park. This new system is currently available to pay for parking at all sites throughout the park (wherever there is cell service).
How: Download the PassportParking app on iPhone or Android, or use the mobile websitehttps://m.ppprk.com/. An interactive voice system is also available at 503-278-5748. PassportParking is free to download and users will not be charged any fee to use the system.

As an additional convenience to park visitors, the WPTMA will not pass along any transaction fee to users of the new service. This means visitors to Washington Park pay the same amount for parking from their phone as they would from the pay station.
