JIM CORBETT JOINS WALKER PARKING CONSULTANTS
Nationally-Known Expert On Parking Operations To Provide Management Consultation To Municipalities And Private Parking Owners
Tampa, FL (June 19, 2015)—Walker Parking Consultants today announced that Jim Corbett, CAPP has joined the firm as a parking consultant in Walker’s Tampa office. Corbett is a nationally-known parking operations expert with extensive experience managing municipal and private parking operations. In his new position, he will work in Walker’s Consulting Resources Group, providing management consultation to municipal and private parking owners across the United States.

A parking consultant with nearly 20 years of experience, Jim Corbett has managed parking assets for numerous municipalities and private owners, including on-street parking, residential parking, concert arenas and sports venues, hospitals, convention centers, performing arts centers, hotels, office buildings, mixed-use surface lot parking, and community redevelopment districts. He has overseen a wide range of parking initiatives, including choosing and installing new parking technologies, developing parking rate policies, and implementing programs to reduce operational costs and make parking operations more profitable.
A longstanding member of the Florida Parking Association (FPA) and the International Parking Institute (IPI), Corbett is the outgoing president of the FPA and he has served on the organization’s board since 2011. He has earned Certified Administrator of Public Parking (CAPP) accreditation from the International Parking Institute and Certified FEMA Incident Command System recognition from the United States Department of Homeland Security.
