Parkopedia Appoints Marty Zacharias as Senior Director, Business Development

Detroit, June 19th 2015 – Parkopedia, the world’s leading parking information provider, announced today the appointment of Marty Zacharias as Senior Director, Business Development; a new position within the company.

In this new role, based out of Parkopedia’s Detroit office, Marty will be the Global Account Manager for many of Parkopedia’s current automotive clients; including Chrysler, Ford, GM and Nissan.

He will also be promoting Parkopedia portfolio of parking services to other OEM’s, Tier 1’s and content aggregators; while identifying new opportunities for Parkopedia products.
Parkopedia’s Head of North American Business Development, Mark Neff, commented that “With Marty joining us and the opening of our new Detroit office, Parkopedia is truly able to help its North American automotive customers integrate intelligent parking solutions into their current offering”.

An automotive engineer who has previously worked at Delphi, Ford and Nissan; Marty most recently led the automotive business development efforts at start-ups such as MOG On Demand Music and Beats Music.

Commenting on the announcement, Parkopedia’s CEO Eugene Tsyrklevich said “We are extremely excited to have Marty on-board. He joins us from Apple, where he was working in Partner Marketing for iTunes Automotive; so he knows the infotainment space very well.”
