StadiumPark Touts New and Exciting Technology Update
StadiumPark is a mobile payment app for stadium, arena and event parking. StadiumPark provides reciprocal benefits to venues and their event attendees. StadiumPark users are able to pay for their parking using their phone and evade long lines by entering through unique “StadiumPark Lanes,” which move quicker than cash with their rapid transaction times. Venue owners and operators gain from creating a better fan experience with the adaptation of innovative technology, increase in-venue spending by bringing customers in quicker and increase revenue from reducing the amount of cash transactions (shrinkage).
StadiumPark’s original technology worked by allowing users chose from a list of venues to generate a unique QR code which was scanned by an iPad mini operated by parking attendants. This technology worked seamlessly in StadiumPark’s two pilots, one which took place at the First Niagara Center for Buffalo Sabres hockey games and the other for a Monster Jam event held at Orlando Citrus Bowl.
The new update to the technology, which will soon be available on the Apple App Store, is even more intuitive, simple and robust than before. The new app acts as a scanner itself and scans a QR code held on a lanyard around the neck of parking attendants in StadiumPark’s unique lane entries. Upon a successful transaction, the user shows the receipt to the parking attendant. It shows a live-ticking-clock so users can not take screenshots and cheat the system.
StadiumPark’s founder, Jeremy Crane, says, “Our new technology developments are very exciting for the company. It now makes StadiumPark easier for venues to adapt and enhances the user experience. All of our venue prospects have taken a strong interest our new system.”
Look out for StadiumPark as they are soon to be in venues throughout the United States; enhancing stadium/arena parking with their new and exciting app!
