DALLAS – Watry Design, Inc. announced today that Michael Johnson will be
joining the firm. With more than thirty years of experience, he will
strengthen the firm’s commitment to delivering a high level of service to
their parking design clients both regionally and firm wide.

Michael joins Watry Design most recently from Walter P. Moore in Dallas. His
background is in project programming, parking design, parking guidance
systems, project management and business development for projects including
the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport Terminal A New Enhanced Parking
Structure, the Orlando International Airport South Terminal APM and Garage
and the Wichita Mid-Continent Airport Parking Garage.

“This is a significant development for the firm, which is celebrating its
fortieth anniversary this year” said John Purinton, Watry Design Principal.
“It represents our commitment to expanding not only regionally, but also our
depth in airport and parking guidance system expertise. Michael’s addition
will help propel our Texas market to the next level.”

Michael’s background also includes projects such as the UT Southwest William
P. Clements Employee Garage and Staff Garage and the Texas State San Marcos
Matthews Street Parking Structure.

Michael will add to Watry Design’s Texas-based expertise. The firm opened
its Austin office in 2011 while designing the parking structure for the
Oliver McMillan’s highly successful River Oaks District in Houston, which is
nearing completion. Watry Design is also currently working with HKS in
Dallas on the Village Town Center project.
