National Parking Association’s First Annual Career Fair Connects Parking Pros, Hospitality Grads & Veterans with Parking Operator Leaders

July 08, 2015

Washington, DC (July 1, 2015)—The National Parking Association (NPA) is committed to advancing the parking industry through networking, education and career placement. For the first time, NPA will bring together parking industry companies looking to grow their teams and job seekers looking to build a career in hospitality at the NPA Career Fair.

The career fair will take place during the 2015 NPA Convention & Exposition from Tuesday, September 1 through Thursday, September 3 at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach in Florida.

Parking companies seeking front line management job candidates will meet with parking professionals, recent hospitality graduates, veterans and other job, candidates in the NPA expo hall, the Fontainebleau’s Sparkle Ballroom. When a potential match is made, employers can then conduct on-site, one-on-one interviews with prospects in private meeting rooms.

“We anticipate that more than 1,500 parking professionals will attend the NPA 2015 Convention & Expo. This creates an ideal opportunity for parking and hospitality companies to build their benches and hire smart,” said NPA president Christine Banning, CAE. “Job seekers will walk away from Convention with new positions, and parking operators will add to their growing teams, contributing to the advancement of our industry, and our economy.”

Job candidates attending NPA’s Career Fair should bring several copies of their resumes, dress professionally and be prepared to share how their prior work experience and education have groomed them for a career in the parking industry.
