17th EPA Congress and Parken 2015, 23 – 25 September, Berlin, Germany
Just shortly before the 17th EPA Congress and Parken which takes place in Berlin (Germany) from 23 – 25 September 2015 the preconditions for a successful event are excellent.
At the Parken exhibition 110 national and international exhibitors, including the key players of the industry as well as 14 specialist publishers, present the whole product range of the parking industry from cleaning to signage. By comparison of the preceding year, the total number of exhibitors has increased by 21%; the number of international exhibitors by 38%. The top three countries of the international exhibiting companies are the Netherlands, Great Britain and Switzerland.

Discussions about current and future topics at the
EPA Congress
Different keynote presentations show the variety of current and future topics of the congress. Among them is the presentation of Prof. Petra Schäfer, Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences which presents a comparative research of parking policies in European cities as well as the one of Ralf Bender, APCOA PARKING Holdings GmbH which discusses the challenges of the digitalization process and the role of the parking operator. At the end of the first congress day, the prestigious EPA Awards in the categories new constructions, renovations, on-street parking, innovation and marketing will be announced. On the second day, Joachim Hauser, BMW Group – which presents itself with the premium parking service ParkNow at the event – discusses the global trend of an increasing digitalization in urban mobility. The highlight of the last congress day is the Round Table. In this context participants from cities from all over Europe as well as car park operators present their visions of a lively city and illustrate the role of parking today and in the future.
