Two New Employees Join R.A. Smith National’s Rotational Training Program

BROOKFIELD, Wis. —R.A. Smith National — a nationwide, multi-disciplined civil and structural engineering and surveying firm — headquartered in Brookfield, Wis., has added two new employees to its rotational training program.

Andrew Stasiukevicius has joined the firm as a civil engineer. Stasiukevicius recently graduated from Marquette University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, with an environmental engineering emphasis and mathematics minor. Prior to graduating, Stasiukevicius was an engineering intern for We Energies. His first rotation at R.A. Smith National will be with the construction services division.

Robert Wielgos has joined the firm as a civil engineer. Wielgos is a recent graduate. He received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Marquette University. Prior to graduating, Wielgos was a full-time civil engineering co-op with the Waukesha Department of Public Works. His first rotation at R.A. Smith National will be with the construction services division.

The rotational training program was implemented to educate and train young professionals in various practice groups throughout the firm. The program consists of five 2-month cycles that include rotations in the municipal services, construction services, survey, land development services and transportation divisions. After working in each division, individuals have a well-rounded understanding of the services provided and how they interrelate. At the end of the rotational training program, individuals move into an ongoing position within one of these practice groups.
