EPA Congress and Parken bring together the parking industry in Berlin – practical and future-oriented

After three intense days, the double-event of European Parking Association Congress and Parken exhibition comes to a positive ending.

 

The diversified and top-class congress program offered insights into the newest trends and developments of the parking industry to the 546 delegates. The presentations focused on the chances and challenges of digitalization, new business models and techniques, parking policies and human behavior. Around 30 speakers examined these topics from scientific and economic points of view.

The parallel held Parken exhibition 2015 closes with a significant increase in visitor numbers by around 70 %. Around 2,200 visitors gathered information from 112 exhibitors and 15 specialist publishers about the current offers of the industry. In comparison to the preceding year, the total number of exhibitors has increased by 23%. The number of international exhibitors gained 46%. There was a positive spirit at the exhibition booths that was characterized by intense expert discussions.

The 18th EPA Congress and Exhibition on “Parking in the City Lounge“ will take place in Rotterdam, Netherlands, from 20 – 22 September 2017. The next Parken trade exhibition will be from 21 – 22 June 2017 in Karlsruhe, Germany.
