London 21st October 2015 – ADVAM (UK) Ltd is pleased to announce, the appointment of Simon Wood as Channel Partner Manager.

As Channel Partner Manager, Simon will be ensuring that ADVAM have the best vendor partners in place to enable significant sales growth in the UK and the EU. Simon will be responsible for optimising the company profile with a range of Parking and Vending solution providers, ensuring that ADVAM are their preferred long term payments partner.

 

Andy Stott, Territory Manager for ADVAM UK comments, “Simon has a breadth of experience from the card acquiring industry following years in the International Corporate Account management team with leading acquirer, Elavon. There, he managed a multi-million pound portfolio of accounts, including one of Europe’s largest international parking operators.   In addition Simon has previously been UK & Ireland Unattended Manager at Six Payments and was Manager for Export Sales at Paxton Access, the UK largest access control manufacturer.  The common thread in Simon’s previous appointments has been building business based on good, long-term partner relationships, and I know that he is looking forward to doing this again for ADVAM.”

 

Born in the UK, but having spent significant time in Belgium and, speaking French, German and Dutch, Simon considers himself to be a true European with a global outlook.   Now living in Salisbury with his wife Theresa, he has two university age children. Simon’s hobbies include travel, food and wines and therefore he tries to practice Karate and swimming a couple of kilometres when he can.
