Urbiotica’s parking sensor system, leader in Germany and Austria.
The latest project completed by MSR-Traffic in the city of Albstadt, Germany, is the sixth deployment of Urbiotica technology in that country. MSR-Traffic and Urbiotica also have 3,800 monitored spaces in Austria making a total of 9,300 spaces between both countries. This has positioned the brand and its partner as benchmarks in parking space sensing systems in the region.
The parking sensors installed on public and private parking spaces communicate in real-time the availability of spaces through signage panels and applications for citizens. The system therefore guides users to free spaces, reducing vehicle congestion by up to 30% and the hassle of having to look for a free space.
