Parking Sense continues to storm its way across the globe and has recently partnered with the world’s largest real estate investment manager, CBRE Group, to install its product at the Galleria Towers in Dallas, Texas – a three-building, 1.4 million-square-foot, Class A office complex situated in North Dallas, adjacent to the Galleria Dallas.

Parking Sense’s product, EasyGuide Single Space Parking Guidance, was founded by Cambridge man Paul Collins, best known as the inventor of MeterEye (later renamed Car Parking Technologies and then Smart Parking), a system which revolutionised the concept of electronic parking guidance.

The Galleria Towers has been investigating parking guidance options for more than a year. Until now it had not been able to find a partner offering a suitable solution.

The Parking Sense installation will comprise 4,300 parking spaces fitted with EasyGuide overhead LED indicators as well as a web-based management and reporting backend and a leading-edge phone app and payment portal.

CBRE Global Investors purchased the Galleria Towers in September 2015.

CBRE is a global real estate investment management firm with $88.4 billion in assets under management as of June 30, 2015. The firm sponsors programs across the risk/return spectrum for investors worldwide.

“CBRE is a global leader in property innovation and design, “says Parking Sense Global’s Chief Operating Officer, Jake Bezzant. “Parking Sense continues to show the parking technology world the way forward and the Galleria in Dallas is yet another example of how our team is changing the face of parking across the globe.”

This is a flagship site for CBRE in the USA and the success of the installation will potentially offer a lead in to CBRE’s other sites.

“We are proud to partner with CBRE, a global leader in real estate, to take parking in the US into the 21st century,” says Todd Wilson, CEO of Parking Sense USA.

Installation is scheduled to begin in late January.
