R.A. Smith National Names New Associates
BROOKFIELD, Wis. —R.A. Smith National — a multi-disciplined civil and structural engineering and surveying firm — headquartered in Brookfield, Wis., has named John Frydrych, Stephan Hoffmann, Chris Stamborski and Chuck Stevens as new associates.
John Frydrych is the eastern regional manager in R.A. Smith National’s Oakmont, Pa., office. Frydrych joined the firm in 2004 and has led the eastern office since that time. He has more than 24 years of broad-based civil engineering, municipal engineering and land development design experience. The markets he has served include retail, commercial, hospitality and industrial developments, as well as expert witness work associated with land development. Frydrych is a licensed professional engineer in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Ohio, Virginia and West Virginia.
Stephan Hoffmann is the director of transportation at the firm’s Brookfield, Wis., headquarters. Hoffmann joined the firm in 2006 and was named director in 2014. He has more than 22 years of project management and design experience, including rural and urban roadway reconstruction and rehabilitation, drainage analysis, utility coordination, public involvement and environmental documentation. Hoffmann is a licensed professional engineer in Wisconsin.
Chris Stamborski is the assistant director of municipal services at the firm’s Brookfield, Wis., headquarters. Stamborski joined the firm in 2000 and has been a key leader in the municipal division, assisting in its growth and the addition of new services. He has more than 15 years of experience, spending the better part of his career specializing in sanitary sewer evaluation, investigation and rehabilitation. Stamborski also has experience in urban and rural road design, stormwater management, water main and sanitary sewer facilities, and is the current engineer for the towns of Raymond and Ixonia. Stamborski is a licensed professional engineer in Wisconsin.
Chuck Stevens is the director of marketing at the firm’s Brookfield, Wis., headquarters. Stevens joined the firm in 2000 and has been instrumental in developing the firm’s corporate brand, furthering growth and new opportunities, strategic planning, as well as leading the corporate marketing and marketing communications programs. He has more than 34 years of experience in the marketing, public relations and newspaper industries. Stevens is chairman of the Wisconsin Philharmonic marketing committee and also a member of the United Way of Greater Milwaukee and Waukesha County marketing committee.
