R.A. Smith National’s Mike Bach Promoted to Project Manager
BROOKFIELD, Wis. — Mike Bach of R.A. Smith National — a nationwide, multi-disciplined civil and structural engineering and surveying firm — headquartered in Brookfield, Wis., has been promoted to project manager in the land development services division.
In this role, Bach is responsible for maintaining existing national clients as well as working to expand R.A. Smith National’s presence in federal, tribal and the Southeastern Wisconsin market. Additionally, he is responsible for professional development and mentoring staff members.
Bach has more than eight years of experience as a lead project engineer and works in markets such as health care, commercial, retail and federal. He has led large multi-disciplinary A/E teams and coordinated project efforts with all team members. Bach’s project management and design experience encompass due diligence analysis and reporting, site planning and design, permitting and construction administration.
Bach holds a bachelor of science in environmental engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Platteville. He is a registered professional engineer in Wisconsin and also is a certified soil erosion inspector. He joined R.A. Smith National in June 2014.
Bach currently resides in Germantown, Wisconsin.
