Following a successful launch at Intertraffic Amsterdam, METRIC is proud to present their new parking terminal, the METRIC Sprite, to the UK market. Following intensive research and development, listening to customers’ needs and requirements in the global marketplace, the result is a compact parking machine packed full of features for smart cities.
Award-Winning Parking System
The METRIC VivoPark system will also be showcased, this award-winning system has been freeing up parking spaces for customers across the UK for a major supermarket chain. Not just for the retail environment, VivoPark can be used for a customer-focused, barrier-free parking experience for hospitals, hotels, park & rides and more.
More than just parking
METRIC’s versatile machines have become multi-service terminals and are currently used for selling products at golf courses, fishing lakes, and internal employee shops. Utilising all the available secure payment options, audit and statistical analysis features while providing the user with a simple customer journey and proof of purchase. The option to be able to offer multiple services opens up the scope of use for these terminals, the METRIC Elite LS will be on the METRIC stand at Parkex demonstrating how to offer more than just parking. Terminals include high definition video media capabilities.
Are you ready for ApplePay?
Since its launch in the UK in July 2015, ApplePay has become a popular method of payment as it’s simple, convenient and secure. Offering contactless payments at the parking terminal is another way to enhance the motorist’s parking experience. METRIC’s parking terminals are ready to accept ApplePay and this functionality can be retrofitted to existing machines in the field.
