Recognizing a window of opportunity to make a great door even be9er, Rytec Corpora<on has introduced new tinted windows with LEXAN sheets for its Spiral® FV® doors. Trusted for high-‐performance applications, the LEXAN sheets for Full Vision (FV) improve building sustainability and occupant comfort.
Keeping with its long history of product innovation, Rytec had previously incorporated LEXAN sheets with MARGARDTM coating as standard for its clear windows in Spiral FV doors. Far more durable and scratch resistant than conventional polycarbonate or acrylic, these premium windows with coated LEXAN sheets are UV-‐light and graffiti resistant, and provide glass-‐like optical quality for clear visibility and light transmission. LEXAN sheets are supplied by the Polymershapes distribu<on business of SABIC’s Innovative Plastics.
With the addition of bronze and grey tinted LEXAN sheets in Spiral FV doors, door appearance remains sleek and clean, while significantly reducing interior solar heat gain. Maintaining comfortable interior temperatures provides even greater value for customers, tenants and employees. The optional tinted panels – like the standard clear panels – also feature an unprecedented 7-‐year limited warranty, and assure customers of continued long-‐term product performance with proper maintenance.
