Parking Australia – Finalists Announced for National Parking Industry Awards

Parking Australia, the national association for the Parking Industry, has today announced the finalists for the Parking Industry Awards, which are to be held at the Parking Australia Convention & Exhibition (PACE) on 10th November 2016 in Perth.

Now in its second year, the prestigious Parking Industry Awards celebrates the achievements of individuals, teams and organisations for excellence, outstanding facilities and innovation throughout the parking sector. Its aim is to highlight the industry’s commitment to raising the standards of the parking industry through showcasing best practice and rewarding outstanding contributions to the parking industry.

The Parking Industry Awards has shortlisted twenty-three finalists from around the country for excellence across seven categories:

Outstanding new car park development
Excellence in car park refurbishment
Outstanding use of on street and public space
Excellence in technology and innovation
Individual parking excellence
Outstanding marketing and communications
Parking organisation of the year
This year we have seen a number of high calibre entries, which were judged by a panel of twelve international and national leaders working in the parking industry.
Lorraine Duffy, Chief Executive at Parking Australia, believes the standard of entries this year has been exceptionally high, as Australian businesses working in the parking industry continue to pursue parking excellence and lead the region.

“Last year we saw a number of organisations go above and beyond in advancing the reputation of the parking industry, through parking best practice and innovations. This year, the entries have once again raised the bar and demonstrated exceptionally high standards and strong commitment towards excellence in the control and management of parking facilities. We congratulate and commend the 2016 finalists and their achievements,” said Duffy.

The full list of finalists can be found here. The winners will be announced at a gala dinner event on Thursday 10th November 2016. For bookings email Melanie Robertson on
