ParkingEye partners with bookaPark to transform car park booking
UK car park management company ParkingEye has partnered with parking solution provider bookaPark to deliver an efficient and easy-to-use parking space booking system.
Using ParkingEye’s Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system and bookaPark’s technology suite, participating clients will be able to offer their customers the ability to book parking spaces online.
The use of ANPR technology, which automatically registers vehicle number plates on arrival and exit, removes the need for costly and obstructive barriers and booking terminals. The system is very flexible, enabling clients to white-label the service and set different tariffs for customers depending on the nature of their booking.
Already up and running at many hotels, including the London Hilton on Park Lane, the integration of bookaPark’s system and ParkingEye’s technology enables clients to manage their parking prices and tariffs more dynamically. For example, having up-to-date information about car park capacity allows clients to determine how and when to offer promotions and incentives to customers.
A ParkingEye spokesperson, said: “We are very pleased to be partnering with bookaPark. By integrating our systems, this new solution will make it easier
for customers to book and pay for parking, while our clients will have better visibility of their car parks’ usage and much more control over the revenue it generates.”
Martin Cleland-pottie, bookaPark CEO, says: “bookaPark has been committed to the UK market for some time and this partnership will enable us to support and grow our existing customer base, provide a wider range of services and ensure we can become a significant supplier to the UK parking market as consumers continue to migrate to purchasing parking through digital channels. It is expected that the new venture with ParkingEye will expedite growth for bookaPark.”
