PassportParking Will Launch for Cocoa Beach Parking

PassportParking will replace current parking app

Cocoa Beach, FL – Paying for parking will soon get easier in Cocoa Beach. The City today announced it has chosen industry leader Passport to replace the MobileNow! parking application.

Drivers can download the PassportParking app and pay for metered parking securely by adding a debit or credit card. The app will be available at 843 parking spaces throughout Cocoa Beach starting December 15th, 2016. With the PassportParking app, customers can:

  • Search for parking
  • Pay securely through the app or mobile web
  • Monitor parking sessions
  • Extend parking from the app (up to the maximum allotted time)
  • View parking history

After December 15th, the current MobileNow! parking app will no longer be in service. Drivers are encouraged to delete the app and download PassportParking from the iPhone App Store and Android Google Play. Users can also manage their parking online at ppprk.com. The app is free to download.

Parking on all on-street metered locations is $2. Parking at the City Hall and South Orlando Ave Lot are $2 per hour or $10 until midnight.

“PassportParking offers an all-inclusive parking management solution that will provide big benefits to both the City of Cocoa Beach and its visitors,” said Jenna Ryan, City Controller for Cocoa Beach. “Its progressive approach towards technology and data management allows for a flexible and easier environment for visitors, residents, and local businesses.”
