WALKER PARKING CONSULTANTS NAMES CASEY WAGNER EXECUTIVE VP AND COO

 

 

 

Board Also Names Seven New Vice Presidents And Principals

 

 

 

Tampa, FL  (January 20, 2017)— Walker Parking Consultants today announced that its Board of Directors has named Casey Wagner Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. A long-time Senior Vice President in Walker’s Houston office, in his new position Wagner oversees company-wide operations, including the production of design, consulting, and restoration services. Wagner also sits on Walker’s Board of Directors.

 

In addition to Casey Wagner’s promotion, Walker’s Board has also named new vice presidents and principals in seven of the firm’s regional offices. In their new positions, each of the appointees will manage his office’s operations and oversee all Walker projects in the region. Walker’s newly appointed vice presidents and principals include:

 

  • Jim (Hakam) Dib, PE (Dubai, UAE)—promoted to Vice President for the UAE offices. He joined Walker in 2010 as Director of the Middle East and North Africa region. An engineer with over 30 years of experience, Jim is a University of Illinois at Chicago graduate and he is active in the Society of Value Engineers, the American Society of Civil Engineers, the UAE Society of Engineers, and the Gulf Society of Engineers.
  • Rick Klein, PE (Ann Arbor, MI)—promoted to Vice President for the Michigan offices. An engineer with nearly 25 years of design, restoration, and evaluation experience, Rick has overseen the design and restoration of dozens of parking facilities. A graduate of the University of Michigan, Klein is active in the American Concrete Institute, the American Society of Civil Engineers, and the Masonry Institute of Michigan.
  • Al Bustamante, PE (Houston)—named Principal in Walker’s Houston office. An engineer with over 15 years of experience, Al is an expert in the evaluation, testing, and design repairs of a variety of structural, architectural, and material distress-related projects. He is a graduate of Old Dominion University, and he earned a Master Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He is active in the American Concrete Institute, the American Institute of Steel Construction, the Foundation Performance Association, the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute and the Houston/Gulf Coast Chapter of Structural Engineers Association of Texas.
  • Dan Kupferman,CAPP (Boston)— named Principal and is the Director of Car Park Management Systems. A parking professional with more than 20 years of experience, Dan’s responsibilities include researching, analyzing, and recommending solutions to parking issues through the performance of studies involving established and emerging parking technologies. A graduate of Eastern Nazarene College, he is active in the International Parking Institute, the National Parking Association, the New England Parking Council, and Toastmasters International.

 

  • Brad Navarro, PE (Elgin)— named Principal and is the Director of Operations for Walker’s two Illinois offices. He has 15 years of experience at Walker and oversees the production and Quality Assurance process for all projects produced by the offices. A graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, he is active in the American Society of Engineers and the Urban Land Institute.
  • Brian Preston, PE (Tampa)— named Principal and is the Director of Operations in Walker’s Tampa office. Preston joined Walker in 1996, and his expertise extends to all aspects of the structural design and analyses, specifications preparation, and field support of new and existing parking structures. He is a graduate of Drexel University and he is active in the International Facility Management Association.
  • Steffen Turoff, AICP (Los Angeles)— named Principal and is the Department Head for Walker’s Consulting Resource Group. An expert on parking policy and planning in commercial districts and downtown centers, Turoff is a member of Walker’s internal Municipal Task Force. A graduate of the University of California-Berkeley, he also earned a Master of Arts in Urban Planning from the University of California-Los Angeles and a Charrette Planner Certificate, National Charrette Institute. Turoff is active in the International Parking Institute, the American Institute of Certified Planners, the International Downtown Association, the Urban Land Institute, and the California Redevelopment Association.
