BEMROSEBOOTH ANNOUNCES STRATEGIC PROMOTION TO SUPPORT GLOBAL GROWTH

BemroseBooth Paragon, the car parking and transport ticketing specialist based in Hull, has announced that Ryan Mellors, who has been with the business for more than 7 years, has been promoted to Vice President of Global Sales – Parking.

Following significant growth in North America, South America and Canada, Ryan will make these territories a focus, extending current client requirements while also targeting new business opportunities. In addition, he will play more of an active role in managing global exhibitions, particularly in the USA where the BBP brand is attracting a lot of attention.

Working from Sales Manager to his current position, Ryan is now a specialist in car parking and associated advertising. Although he has always assisted with international markets, his new role sends out a very clear message to the marketplace; BemroseBooth Paragon is the leading global supplier of tickets for carparking, bus and rail.

Ryan comments: “Every day is different when you work in ticketing. It’s a very competitive market and you need to be on the ball if you want to succeed. BBP is thriving and I am so proud to be a part of that and to have taken the next step in my career. I am really looking forward to working more closely with the international sales team and to reach our objective to double revenue in America, before we move on to the rest of the world!”

Sales and Marketing Director for BemroseBooth Paragon, Richard Farmer comments: “Recent years have seen us secure a strong foothold within the North American parking ticket market. We’ve worked hard and that commitment is now paying off. Ryan is an excellent example of the talent we have in our team and I’m looking forward to working more closely with him as we take our export business to the next level.”

BemroseBooth Paragon has supplied magnetic tickets for car parking and global rail services for more than 100 years. Responsible for the manufacture of hundreds of millions of tickets, which are distributed to customers daily, the company is now the worldwide leader in the market.

Its products are designed and manufactured in-house and BemroseBooth Paragon is one of the only organisations in Europe that produces magnetic ink on site. Using the Knowledge Transfer Partnership offered by the University of Hull, and investing a combined sum of more than £300,000, the business appointed a full-time Chemistry masters graduate to implement a specialist division which has delivered efficiencies across the production process.
