Scheidt & Bachmann Invests in a Central Global Service Team

June 29, 2017

Scheidt & Bachmann is known worldwide for its good service and the high availability for the systems it installs. The significance of IT Services is increasing in line with the shift towards digitalisation. For this reason the new “Global Service” department was established in the Systems for Parking and Access business division.

Existing products and services such as cloud systems and the Global Service Desk are pooled here and all new IT services in the areas of security, e-commerce and support for digital applications are based here. The central team supports both the global service organisation in the currently 12 subsidiaries as well as sales partners and direct customers.

It is Scheidt & Bachmann’s declared target to become the leading company with regard to safeguarding system availability at the highest level. “In order to be able to achieve this aim and provide our customers with first-class service, it was a logical step to establish the “Global Service” department at our headquarters”, says Martin Kammler, Managing Director of the Systems for Car Park and Leisure Facilities business division.

Dr. Boris Ansorge is responsible for managing the “Global Service” department. Until now Dr. Ansorge was in charge of Strategic Tasks for the Scheidt & Bachmann management and has considerable experience in Service Management. “I am proud to be part of an experienced team of highly motivated and specialised associates and look forward to taking the next steps with the team”, says Dr. Ansorge.
