Tampa FL (November 15, 2017)— Walker Consultants is pleased to announce that Douglas Fell, PE has joined the firm as a Senior Restoration Consultant. Fell will direct Walker’s Emergency Response Services, assisting clients with damaged structures across the United States by overseeing origin and cause investigations, damage assessments, repair cost estimates, and temporary shoring plans. He also serves as an outside investigator liaison, and provides coordination with attorneys, insurance companies, and contractors. He will oversee Walker’s Emergency Response Services for all types of structural impairment, from small damage events to large catastrophic losses.

Doug Fell has over 38 years of engineering experience overseeing the restoration of structures that have suffered catastrophic loss from many causes, including fire, explosion, severe weather, floods, impacts, and design defects. He is certified to work on hazardous material sites, and he has collaborated with the ATF (Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives), CSB (Chemical Safety Board), OSHA (Occupational and Safety Health Administration), and FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency), as well as numerous state and local governmental agencies, attorneys, insurance companies, other discipline investigators, and contractors.
