New Brunswick, NJ December 20th, 2017 SKIDATA, Inc. makes generous contribution to ELIJAH’S PROMISE in New Brunswick, New Jersey!
Prior to relocating their U.S. Corporate Headquarters in 2017, SKIDATA, Inc. had an internal food and clothing drive in November of 2016 to assist Elijah’s Promise with their need for supplies. When the company moved into New Brunswick just down the street from the soup kitchen, they wanted to find a way to exhibit the SKIDATA ‘Spirit of Passion’ with an even greater gift.
SKIDATA has a strong commitment to making a positive impact in the communities we live and work. Keith Lynch – Head of Sales shared his thoughts on the company donation, “The mission statement of Elijah’s Promise resonates strongly within the company and impressed us greatly. For us to be able to provide more than just our annual offering of clothing and food is extremely important and I am personally very proud to help expand their efforts this holiday season and hopefully bring a greater awareness to this excellent organization.”
Elijah’s Promise harnesses the power of food to break the cycle of poverty, alleviate hunger, & change lives.
SKIDATA has contributed $7500.00 to the multi-faceted non-profit organization in an offer of good will in hopes of helping them exceed their goals during this holiday season!
The Elijah’s Promise Community Kitchen was started in August of 1989 and since its inception, the soup kitchen has grown from an organization of three paid staff and 100 volunteers serving 35,000 meals a year to a multi-service organization of 26 paid staff and over 3,000 volunteers serving over 170,000 meals annually between all of their meal service programs.
Everyone at SKIDATA is thankful for the incredible work done by the staff at Elijah’s Promise and the service it offers to the community year round!
