PowerCharge Launches New Line of Electric Vehicle
Charging Stations for Residential Use

Rush, NY—  Tuesday, July 31, 2018 —  PowerCharge, a division of Moser Services Group, LLC, announced the release of the “Energy Series” of electric vehicle charging stations for residential use earlier this week. This follows the successful launch of the “Pro Series” line of commercial charging stations in the Spring of 2017.

“We continue to identify the needs of our customers, so we have introduced a slim and durable charger designed for residential use” stated Mike Moser, the president of PowerCharge. ”The unit has a simple plug-in installation and can easily be mounted on a garage wall or a pedestal near a parking space.”

The Energy Series includes two residential models. The Standard ‘Energy’ model is a simple plug and charge station, while the ‘Connect’ model links to the PowerCharge phone app using the home’s WiFi. The ‘Connect’ model offers progressive features like; charge status reporting, remote on/off switch, scheduled charging, and power consumption reporting.

“Most charging stations in the EV (electric vehicle) space can be fairly large and require a designated area to be installed” added Moser. “With theEnergy Series, the product is smaller than an 8.5”x 11” sheet of paper, has simple plug-in installation and is outdoor rated, so it can be installed almost anywhere.”

Carefully listening to the needs of electric vehicle drivers, PowerCharge developed a powerful feature set for the Energy Series. All models are up to six times faster than the standard 110-volt plug, delivering up to twenty miles of driving range for every hour of charge time and are UL-listed meeting safety criteria for use throughout North America. With an adjustable output (3.8kW, 5.8kW and 7.6kW), the ideal power level can be matched to work with the owner’s supply panel, electric vehicle and the driver’s needs. A 25-foot cable is standard, the longest allowed while meeting UL safety standards.

Moser adds “the electric vehicle market will continue to grow, and designing cutting-edge equipment that fits the lifestyle of the driver will help fuel its acceptance.”
