Colonial Parking to speak at 2018 NPA Convention

 

 

Wilmington, DE – Three Colonial Parking, Inc and Colonial Airport Parking, Incemployees will be speaking at the2018 National Parking Association (NPA) 2018 Convention & Expo, taking place Oct 22-25 in Las Vegas, NV.

 

 

 

The NPA Convention & Expo brings together the foremost experts and parking professionals to discuss current trends, best practices and learn firsthand what industry leaders are doing to stay ahead.

 

This year’s convention will focus on the future of parking and the opportunities it holds for the industry. Premier industry thought leaders will be speaking on topics including mobility, parking demand, smart cities, urban development and parking innovation.

 

Jed Hatfield, CPP/ President of Colonial Parking, Inc & Colonial Airport Parking, Inc, John Groden, CPP/ Operations Manager of Colonial Airport Parking, Inc and Chris Hankins, CPP/ Vice-President of Colonial Parking, Inc will speak at this year’s event.

Hatfield, will join David Damus, CEO, System Property Development Company, Inc/Motor Parks, Inc for an insightful C-suite level interview in The Damus CEO Forum: Insights from the Greatest Minds in Parking Hear form market makers, decision makers and movers & shakers shaping the parking industry.

 

 

Groden will be presenting along with Artem Alabin, CEO of Servimer, on the topic of Mystery Shopping at the Big Fat Mystery seminar:  How to use covert customers to stop theft, manage risk and improve service delivery in a parking operation. The seminar will examine how to establish a mystery shopping program and demonstrate how to use the information collected through the program as actionable data for your business.

 

 

Hankins will co-speak at the Certified Parking Professional Preparation Classes, an intensive 1-day study program for those seeking to earn the NPA’s CPP designation. The program is facilitated by members of NPA’s Certification Advisory Board (CAB.)

 

Hankins will also speak on the topic of Management, Administration & Operations. This class will examine key parking administrative and management functions for certified parking professionals, including the organization of a parking operation, legal liabilities of a parking facility and OSHA and workers compensation requirements.
