Healthcare industry business services and logistical veteran Will Nugent to help lead healthcare parking services operations nationally from company’s South Carolina hub



NASHVILLE, TENN. – Parking Management Company (PMC), a hyper-growth employee-owned parking services and garage management company with its eyes set on leading the hospitality and healthcare industries, today announces the hiring of Will Nugent. He will serve as a key strategic leader of the company’s national healthcare industry practice as well as act as its South Carolina Leader. Nugent will be based in Charleston.


Nugent brings approximately 35 years of industry experience. This includes working for hotel parking services companies on the client service side and holding leadership roles within healthcare organizations requiring complex parking services and solutions.

Serving single hospitals and healthcare systems has been a top focus area of PMC for years. Nugent began his career in healthcare, working for hospitals and hospital systems from New York to Florida. Using this experience, he will aid setting national best practices for PMC in this sector while introducing new innovative strategies that benefit hospital managers.


In addition to working for hospitals, Nugent also spent five years at Towne Park, Inc. in Annapolis, MD until he started his own Charleston-based consulting firm in 2015. At PMC, Nugent will also focus on expanding PMC’s client base within the Palmetto State while ensuring its client roster continues to receive best in class support and services. PMC has operated in South Carolina since 2014.


“Being based in South Carolina, we expect him to lead our continued expansion throughout the region,” added McCarley.


In all, PMC currently has 150 employees in Charleston and Columbia. The company operates in 45 cities and has more than 2,000 employees.
