APPYWAY BOLSTERS ITS SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY STRATEGY WITH SMART CITY SPECIALIST ADVISORY BOARD APPOINTMENT

 

 

London UK, Tuesday 2nd June 2020 – AppyWay, Europe’s most awarded intelligent kerbside and smart parking firm has today announced the appointment of ex local government, smart city champion Kim Smith to AppyWay’s advisory board.

 

 

Kim is currently Head of Smart Mobility at DG:Cities Ltd., an urban innovation company

that focuses on the integration of smart city technologies and approaches to maximise their benefits for cities, and optimise the use of resources, infrastructure and services. Kim joined DG:Cities Ltd from the Royal Borough of Greenwich where she was the council’s Transportation Planning and Strategy Manager, leading for the borough on transport policy development and delivery.

Kim has spent over 25 years in transport planning, project delivery, policy formation and high-level strategy, as well as working at an operational level, managing the delivery of passenger transport services. With a wider interest in the sustainable expansion and development of smart cities, Kim’s experience is an ideal fit for the board as AppyWay seeks to embed its sustainable mobility strategy into further cities around the UK and beyond.
