Circontrol, the leading company in Electric Vehicle charging solutions, will gather the main Spanish, European andLatin American experts from the mobility and electromobility sectors in the online eMobility Expert Meeting eConferenceon 17 September. The eConference will focus on the different issues currently facing the sector during the COVID-19crisis and Circontrol’s transition in recent times from a manufacturer to a supplier of charging solutions.
“The automotive industry plays a strategic role in Europe and is experiencing severe economic stress; thetransition to clean transport offers many opportunities to this sector and is a good way of stimulating the economy. France, Germany and Spain are already incentivising electromobility through grants forpurchasing EVs and the installation of
charging points. Every crisis is an opportunity”, explains the company’s CEO Joan Hinojo. Circontrol is highly aware of the importance of these two sectors in the economy and in the energy transition, which is why it hasrecreated the annual on-site event with the eMobility Expert Meeting eConference, a free virtual event adapted to the current circumstances.
EMOBILITY EXPERT MEETING
The morning session, which will be held in English, will be attended by leading European companies in the electricmobility sector. After the welcome, Philippe Vangeel, Secretary General of the European Association for Electromobility(AVERE), will get the event underway. During the morning, there will be speeches from international companies like Engenie, Neogy, SABA, GreenParking, Yellow & Co, SWARCO eVolt and, of course, experts from Circontrol and institutions such as Dundee City Council.
The afternoon session, which will offer content in Spanish, will be led by national and Latin American companies that are leaders in the electromobility sector. Following the welcome, Arturo Perez de Lucía, General Director of the Business Association for the Boosting and Development of the Electric Vehicle Market (AEDIVE), will offer a conference.Next, there will be different talks by companies such as Iberdrola, E-Drive from Mexico, Prosepac from Uruguay, TMB,Propark from Mexico, UrbaPark from Ecuador and, like in the morning, also by experts from Circontrol. The event will also be attended by the Argentine Association of Electric and Alternative Vehicles (AAVEA).
The event will be split into two parts. For one part, participants will be able to virtually attend the conferences. Themain focus will be the state of the electromobility sector during the COVID- 19 crisis and the opportunities created for alarge number of businesses such as service stations, supermarkets, car parks and delivery fleets. To demonstrate this, the event will be attended by different company partners who will explain their success stories.
The other part of the event will consist of an exclusive, invitation-only area used to bring
Circontrol’s clients together for networking purposes.
