VIDEALERT EXPANDS MOBILE ENFORCEMENT VEHICLE OPERATIONS WITH NEW TECHNICAL APPOINTMENT

 

 

 

PINNER, MIDDLESEX, 28 APRIL 2021 – Videalert, part of Marston Holdings and one of the UK’s leading suppliers of traffic enforcement and management solutions, has announced the appointment of Rupert Hector as an electronics engineer at the company’s Mobile Enforcement Vehicle (MEV) engineering hub in Trowbridge, Wiltshire.

 

Rupert Hector joins direct from Siemens where he completed an electronics technician apprenticeship.  He will be responsible for assisting in the development and production of and expanding range of multi-purpose MEVs which includes fully electric cars, vans and bikes as well as hybrid and other fuel variants.  Each MEV is equipped with a full suite of traffic and parking management applications which can also be retrofitted to vehicles from other suppliers.

 

According to Rob Kinch, Technology and Innovation Director at Videalert:  “This appointment will enable us to meet the increasing demand from local authorities wanting multi-purpose MEVs that offer the flexibility to be used immediately in a wide range of applications as well as providing the ability to enforce moving traffic contraventions when legislation permits.  Rupert will also help boost further ongoing technical development of our MEVs.”
