WGI Names David Taxman, PE Mobility Market Leader

 

 

 

Tampa, FL WGI, Inc., a leading national design and planning firm, today announced that David Taxman, PE has been named Mobility Market Leader for the firm. In his new role, Taxman will oversee transportation and parking projects across the United States for WGI clients, including municipalities, universities, hospitals, and the private sector.

A longtime parking professional, Taxman is a passionate advocate for reform in parking planning practices and a national leader in Transportation Demand Management (TDM) and Mobility Best Practices (MBP). He was one of the first parking professionals to earn certification as a Parksmart Advisor and led trainings for certifying others.

 

Taxman was recently named one of the National Parking Association’s “40 under 40” and his expertise in parking planning includes supply and demand studies, operations and management, financial feasibility studies, parking policy, technology review and specification, shared parking studies, parking privatization, and functional design of parking facilities. He has performed numerous traffic studies for communities across the United States, including traffic impact analysis, signal warrant analyses, traffic calming studies, bus capacity analysis, complete street design, pedestrian facility design, traffic signal timing, multi-modal studies, and traffic count surveys.
