Fine Airport Parking Acquires Two Houston Airport Parking Facilities
(Houston, TX) – Fine Airport Parking (Fine), a family-owned provider of premium airport parking services throughout the U.S., has acquired two off-airport parking facilities in Houston, Texas, located at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), and William P. Hobby Airport (HOU). These facilities are Fine Airport Parking’s third and fourth locations and first expansion since 2017. Fine will incorporate its standard of excellence into the newly acquired facilities, including various facility improvements, complimentary amenities, and top tier customer service.
“After enduring unprecedented challenges in our industry over the past 18 months, Fine is excited to bring its brand of superior service and facilities to Houston travelers,” said Chris Amburgy, Chief Executive Officer at Fine. “We plan to make significant investments in the acquired facilities and in our 50 new team members to deliver a remarkable parking experience to our new Houston customers.”
At George Bush Intercontinental Airport, Fine acquired the facility located at 3100 Greens Road, previously operated by Preflight Airport Parking. Set on 22-acres and located only 2.4 miles away from the IAH terminal, the lot contains over 2,600 covered and uncovered spaces, with daily parking rates starting at under $6 per day. Fine plans to add additional services at the facility, including a valet parking option that will commence later this year.
At William P. Hobby Airport, Fine acquired a 930 space, three-story garage located at 7979 Airport Boulevard, which provides the closest off-airport parking option at Hobby, located just half a mile and a 90 second shuttle ride away from the terminal. Daily rates for covered parking start at less than $9 per day. Fine will begin offering a valet parking option later this year and plans to add car wash and auto detailing services in early 2022.
