Happy New Year and the first work week of 2022 from Parking Today Media.  I hope everyone had blessed Christmas and a healthy, energized start of the year.

JVH wrote a blog about new year’s resolutions.  Read it here: Jan 3, 2022 – Resolutions – JVH, Parking Today .

John mentions that resolutions are impossible to keep, yet from what I have read he is making some, he finds keepable.

I thought about the importance of resolutions or rather, intentions.  It was also Emerson who said that if we make a sincere, conscious determination, the whole Universe conspires to assist us.  Just as the Lord answers all of our prayers, if only we are sincere and grateful for what is to come as it already is.  Sincerity and gratitude are the key.

And perhaps measuring high, dreaming big, making a huge determination truly works if only we examine our life daily.  So for me, no glass of wine during January.  If I get through January, I might be able to want to do in February also.  Because I want to face all the challenges ahead of me like minded with the Lord.  Fully conscious and reflective.  Not reactive but responsive. Pondering my unconscious patterns and changing them.  It is doable.  One step, one day at the time.  And the best part of it, if I change, the world around of me changes.  Subsequently, it fills up with freshness and joy.

Speaking of joy: I am truly excited to have “pin your photo” in PT on pages 28-29 of January Parking Today.  Please see this section here: https://magazine.parkingtoday.com/issues/ParkingToday2022-01JAN/

More pictures are to come in February issue as well as the following issues.  Therefore, if you have any pictures of your company’s events or you attending conferences or at work, please send them to me at astrid@parkingtoday.com.  Thank you so much.

Also, our March issue of PT is the International Issue.  Hence, please send any possible articles to me, astrid@parkingtoday.com and contact Brian Bullen for an ad space, brian@parkingtoday.com.  Thank you.

To end this little note, it is fitting to quote the “Flight 2022 Instructions” shared by many this past Christmas – (I don’t know the author).  Since these are the intentions, or the resolutions or the determinations, truly worth keeping daily in this new year and always.

Have a Blessed 2022.

Thank you.

“Flight 2022 Instructions

Good morning and welcome to Flight 2022. We are prepared to take off into the New Year. Please make sure your Positive Attitude and Gratitude are secured and locked in the upright position.

All self-destruct devices: pity, anger, selfishness, pride, and resentment should be turned off at this time.

All negativity, hurt, and discouragement should be put away. Should you lose your Positive Attitude under pressure during this flight, reach up and pull down a prayer. Prayers will automatically be activated by Faith. Once your Faith is activated, you can assist other passengers who are of little faith.

There will be NO BAGGAGE allowed on this flight. God, our Captain, has cleared us for take-off. Destination – GREATNESS!

Wishing you a New Year filled with new HOPE, new JOY, and new BEGINNINGS!

Stay Blessed! And welcome in 2022.”
