Fleet Advantage’s Jackie Jacobs Named NextGen Leader by Monitor Magazine

Jacobs Recognized for Leadership and Development in the Equipment Finance and Transportation Industries Through Spearheading Data Analytics and Equipment Procurement Strategies

FORT LAUDERDALE (June 20, 2022) – Fleet Advantage, a leading innovator in truck fleet business analytics, equipment financing, and life cycle cost management (LCCM), today announced Jackie Jacobs, CLFP, Senior Fleet Transaction Analyst and Project Manager, has been named a NextGen Leader for Monitor Magazine’s 3rd Annual NextGen Leaders Award.

This award highlights 40 up-and-coming leaders under 40 in the equipment finance industry. Jacobs has played an integral role at Fleet Advantage by spearheading data analytics and equipment procurement strategies for the company’s Transaction Management Team. She provides input and analysis that enables Fleet Advantage to launch pioneering programs that reshape the way transportation fleets operate, including LCCM (Life Cycle Cost Management) strategies. In fact, her efforts led her to get promoted to her current role in February 2021.

Jacobs has thrived as a female leader within the transportation and equipment finance industries through her strength and confidence to help customers overcome today’s greatest supply chain challenges. She regularly recognizes opportunities for companies to minimize fuel consumption and reduce their carbon footprint through the use of data analytics.

“Jackie’s leadership at Fleet Advantage and her help in developing some of our current solutions just shows how hard working, dedicated, and committed she is to the excellence of the company,” said John Rickette, CTP, CLFP, Vice President of Portfolio and Manager of the Transaction Management Team for Fleet Advantage. “Jackie’s ability to thrive in this environment has been defined by her sheer willingness to possess critical characteristics that illustrate her to be confident, creative, and persevering, but above all else, to be adaptable while possessing leadership qualities.”

Jacobs involves herself in several industry-related organizations, such as the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association (ELFA) and she has plans to become even more involved in the future so that she can continue to inspire others throughout the transportation industry. She was also a featured speaker at the ELFA’s 60th Annual Convention last October, where she spoke on the importance of truck life cycles and how companies can save money by optimizing replacement cycles and remarketing strategies. Jacobs has also been recognized as Women in Trucking’s 2022 Top Women to Watch in Transportation, and Monitor’s 2021 Top Women in Equipment Finance.
