WGI Director of Mobility Ravali Kosaraju Named Young Leader to Follow

By The Institute of Traffic Engineers

San Antonio, TX (June 28, 2022) Ravali Kosaraju, WGI’s Director of Mobility, has been named a young leader to follow by the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE). The 2022 Young Leaders to Follow class is comprised of 23 transportation professionals under 35-years-old who have demonstrated leadership and innovation within the transportation industry and ITE.

“The WGI family is extremely proud of Ravali Kosaraju for earning this important honor,” said David Wantman, CEO of WGI, Inc. “There are over 50,000 transportation planners and engineers in the United States, including 16,000 ITE members, and Kosaraju is one of only 23 professionals to earn this prestigious distinction in 2022. WGI is fortunate to have Ravali as a leader in our firm.”

Ravali Kosaraju is a transportation visionary who understands how traffic engineering and planning, mobility and curb management, and parking combine to impact communities. Through her work in both the private and public sectors, she has become a passionate proponent of mutually beneficial development that works for both the developer and the wider community, and she has become an authority on how to build strong public/private partnerships. At a time when cities and private developers are focused on mobility and the way it is revolutionizing the transportation landscape, Kosaraju is a leader who is helping cities and private developers embrace the changing landscape to create safer, more sustainable, and more manageable roadways.

“ITE provides leadership opportunities to those of all ages, but these members have distinguished themselves at a young age,” said ITE Executive Director and CEO Jeff Paniati. “They have made significant contributions to ITE’s success, and we look forward to great things from them in the years to come.”
