FORT LAUDERDALE (September 21, 2022) – Fleet Advantage, a leading innovator in truck fleet business analytics, equipment financing, and life cycle cost management (LCCM), announced today that Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, Katerina Jones, Senior Fleet Transaction Analyst and Project Manager, Jackie Jacobs, CLFP, and Marketing Manager, Elizabeth Gomez, were recipients of the Supply & Demand Chain Executive’s 2022 Women in Supply Chain Award.
Every year, the Women in Supply Chain Award honors female supply chain leaders and executives whose accomplishments, mentorship and examples set a foundation for women in all levels of a company’s supply chain network. This year’s list includes individuals across multiple industries, including trucking and transportation, who have all helped supply chain clients and the supply chain community at large prepare to meet many of today’s—and tomorrow’s—challenges.
As a valued member of the Fleet Advantage team, Jones is an extremely influential woman not only for her organization, but also for the greater transportation and supply chain industries. She strives to deliver information, advocacy, and advancements on a continual basis. Jones contributes greatly to the success of Fleet Advantage’s business operations and this year was appointed to the Senior Management Group. She also placed a high priority on mentoring and supporting other professional women in Fleet Advantage, in which she recently authored an article in Supply & Demand Chain Executive how other female leaders in the supply chain industry can become successful female mentors. This is the second time she has been recognized for this award, as she won the first year it was created in 2020.
Devoting much of her time to recognizing opportunities for fleets to minimize fuel consumption, Jacobs has an integral role of spearheading data analytics and equipment procurement strategies for the company’s Transaction Management Team. She is an experienced fleet transaction analyst and project manager who provides input and analysis that enables Fleet Advantage to launch pioneering programs that reshape the way transportation fleets operate. Jacobs was a featured speaker at the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association’s 60th Annual Convention last October, and she was recognized as a recipient of Monitor’s 2022 NextGen Leaders award in June. She also recently achieved her Certified Lease and Finance Professional (CLFP) accreditation. which illustrates her skillset and commitment to the supply chain industry for equipment leasing.
Over the past five years, Gomez has achieved several important milestones with Fleet Advantage. She is instrumental in the onboarding of new clients, where her deep understanding of client operations helps Fleet Advantage secure relationships with Fortune-100 companies and many of the country’s top 100 fleets. Gomez also expanded the program reach and success of the company’s charitable efforts through its Kids Around The Corner Foundation over the last two years to various new organizations, associations and affiliations in local communities.
“While the supply chain industry has been heavily affected in 2022, influential leaders such as Katerina, Elizabeth, and Jackie are proving that hard work, dedication and a commitment to navigating solutions for our customers open new opportunities and inspire other professional women in supply chain-focused organizations,” said Brian Holland, President and CFO of Fleet Advantage. “We could not be prouder of the accomplishments Katerina, Elizabeth, and Jackie have worked hard to achieve, and they are a significant reason why Fleet Advantage is a leader in promoting a more diverse workplace for stronger overall industry success.”
