MONTRÉAL, April 10, 2024Genetec Inc. (“Genetec”), a leading technology provider of unified security, public safety, operations, and business intelligence solutions, today announced the availability of Security Center SaaS from its global network of certified partners. A massively scalable, open, and unified software as a service (SaaS) solution, the new offering will combine access control, video management, forensic search, intrusion monitoring, automation, and many other advanced security capabilities.

“The physical security industry has been eagerly anticipating an enterprise-grade offering that can be implemented in the cloud or in a hybrid deployment based on customers’ needs and requirements. Security Center SaaS not only fills this important gap in the market, but it redefines the possibilities for cloud-based physical security,” said Michel Chalouhi, Vice President of Global Sales at Genetec Inc.

Because of its open architecture, Security Center SaaS gives organizations the freedom to choose the door controllers, cameras, and devices that work best for their business. The information is presented in a single, intuitive user interface, facilitating faster and more informed decision-making processes.

Security Center SaaS features powerful and comprehensive systems management tools, making it easier and faster for channel partners to configure, provision, and deploy complex, multi-site enterprise systems at scale. From quote to delivery, Security Center SaaS helps partners to efficiently manage and oversee all their Security Center SaaS installations, no matter the size of the project.

Direct to cloud connection with Axis Cloud Connect (ACC) and Axis Powered by Genetec

In addition to an open portfolio of cameras by a range of manufacturers, Security Center SaaS takes full advantage of the newly announced Axis Cloud Connect solution, and the existing Axis Powered by Genetec network door controller. Building on years of close collaboration with Axis, Security Center SaaS enables customers to securely connect, enroll, and manage Axis devices in a diversity of deployment options, including direct device-to-cloud streaming of video, metadata, and access control data.

Together, both ACC and Axis Powered by Genetec offer users a complete enterprise-grade deployment of both network access control and video technologies designed to work seamlessly across hybrid and cloud environments, as well as in fully on-premises deployments. Easily installed and maintained, these Axis devices enable Security Center SaaS customers to deploy a unified cloud-ready installation quickly and reliably.

Hayden AI Launches Double Parking Enforcement Solution for Road Safety and Public Transit

Hayden AI Launches Double Parking Enforcement Solution for Road Safety and Public Transit

Bus-mounted technology improves road safety and public transit performance by changing driver behavior to stop roadway hazards caused by double parking

SAN FRANCISCO, April 10, 2024—-Hayden AI, a global leader in vision AI and spatial analytics, today announced a new product for its vision AI platform: automated double parking enforcement. Utilizing the same hardware and AI technology as the company’s automated bus lane, bus stop, and bike lane enforcement platform, this new application of the technology is designed to improve road safety and public transit performance by reducing instances of illegal double parking through highly accurate and scalable enforcement.

Double parking creates major issues for road safety and public transit. When drivers illegally block a travel lane parallel to legally parked vehicles, they force buses, other vehicles, and cyclists to maneuver around the stopped vehicle, increasing the likelihood of crashes and causing significant travel delays. Moreover, double parking also creates challenges for legally parked vehicles that cannot leave when needed.

Automated double parking enforcement gives transit and other agencies an additional tool to improve bus performance and road safety for everyone. By utilizing the Hayden AI technology already installed on buses for automated bus lane, bus stop, and bike lane enforcement, agencies can seamlessly and automatically detect and enforce illegal double parking violations at scale.

“All it takes is one double parked vehicle to create a traffic hazard and delay multiple buses — and the people relying on those buses to reach their jobs and appointments on time,” said Chris Carson, founder and CEO of Hayden AI. “Our vision AI platform is designed to improve transit performance and road safety, and reducing double parking is a huge part of that. I’m thrilled that we are adding automated double parking enforcement to our vision AI platform.”

About Hayden AI: At Hayden AI, we’re pioneering real world problem solving powered by AI and machine learning. From bus lane and bus stop enforcement to digital twin modeling and more, our clients use our mobile perception system to speed up transit, make streets safer, and create a more sustainable future. TripShot Launches FlexRide, a New Transportation Solution for Campuses and Communities

FlexRide efficiently pools riders and ensures everyone arrives at their defined destination on time

SAN JOSE, Calif. April 2, 2024 – TripShot, an industry-leading transportation management solution for companies, universities and hospitals, has announced its latest feature, FlexRide.

TripShot’s FlexRide is an innovative new transit SaaS solution that automatically creates dynamic routes by factoring in user-requested pickup/drop-off locations and predetermined stops and times. For example, riders can submit a next-day pick-up request at their home, be dropped off at a pre-determined stop and arrive on time for their daily commitments. TripShot aggregates all similar requests, creates a dynamic route and notifies riders of their scheduled pickup time. The reverse can happen for commutes home.

FlexRide supports higher vehicle utilization and lower deadhead times for vehicle fleets. By pooling riders along a dynamic route, operators enjoy more efficient vehicle assignments and optimized scheduling. Adding FlexRide to TripShot can significantly improve rider convenience, allowing them to customize their transportation services to meet their unique needs. Since operations began in the Fall of 2023, an early-adopting customer’s average weekly growth rate for completed trips has been 17%. 93% of these trips received a 5-star rating from riders.

“FlexRide is a win-win for administrators, drivers and riders. It’s a revolutionary transit innovation seamlessly tailored to cater to today’s diverse commuters and passengers. Early adopters of FlexRide have found it operationally scalable and responsive while enhancing the rider experience, attracting new riders and ultimately helping employees to arrive ready for a productive day.” said Patrick Le, Co-Founder and General Manager at TripShot.

This new feature results from the company’s strong emphasis on innovation and focus on changing client needs. Initially built for corporate campuses of some of the world’s largest technology companies, TripShot now offers FlexRide as another mode of transportation for future-oriented corporations, universities, medical facilities, and other campuses.

“FlexRide is a paradigm-shifting transit innovation simultaneously prioritizing operational efficiency and rider convenience, ushering in a new era of forward-looking transit options,” added Rob Antoniak, Chief Customer Officer. “This game-changing innovation is a testament to our grit and determination to fulfill our mission to simply and efficiently solve transportation’s most pressing problems while redefining mobility for all.”
