Cheshire, CT –  – TKH Security (formerly Park Assist) is proud to announce our collaboration with Hamilton County at The Banks in Cincinnati, Ohio. Currently, we’re in the process of installing our Automated Parking Guidance System (APGS ) at The Banks parking garage, featuring more than 4,000 spaces on two levels.

While the Ohio River is considered the “Main Street” of Cincinnati, the Riverfront is its heart. Breaking ground in 2008, The Banks represents a successful partnership between Hamilton County and the City of Cincinnati. It’s a premier mixed-use development located along the scenic Ohio River in downtown Cincinnati, offering a vibrant blend of residential, commercial, and entertainment spaces. With its picturesque atmosphere and prime location, The Banks contributes billions to the local economy, including $48 million from two recent Taylor Swift concerts.

From garage entry to open space, our APGS leverages advanced technology to streamline parking facility management and improve the overall parker experience. At the heart of our system is the M5 camera-based smart sensor, capable of monitoring up to six parking spaces simultaneously. With 99%+ accuracy, these sensors provide operators with real-time occupancy data, ensuring accurate information about space availability. Green and red LED lights on the sensors navigate parkers to the available spaces, reducing the time to park by up to 63%.

“We’re pleased to be selected to partner with Hamilton County and the City of Cincinnati on The Banks’ APGS project,” said Nash. “We anticipate installation completion by Q4 2024.”

The Banks’ APGS package also includes:

The new system will include Mobile Smart City’s N42 Entry unit with a full interactive screen, QR reader for Pango Parking App, abilityto print tickets and intercom system, with license plate recognition. The LG1 Exit unit will provide pay in lane with credit card, Pango QR Code, will print receipts, license plate recognition, and intercom system that connects to Mobile Smart City 24/7 Call Center.

Durham, North Carolina – CPMA is pleased to announce the appointment a new board member, Vanessa Watson, of Clemson University Parking and Transportation Services (pictured below). She will serve a three-year term  commencing January 29, 2024.

“Our Board of Directors is comprised of a dedicated team of experts and leaders committed to improving the parking and mobility industry” said Carl DePinto, President. “We are excited to channel Vanessa’s experience and expertise into furthering our mission in the association.”

The Board of Directors and members of the North and South Carolinas Parking and Mobility Association have voted to appoint Vanessa and we look forward to her support in the coming years as we build a larger association in this-ever growing region. She is currently the Sr. Associate Director for Parking Operations at Clemson University. With over 34 years of experience in university parking, she entered the field of parking after graduating from Central Wesleyan College (Southern Wesleyan University) with a B.S. in Accounting and Business Administration. While working at Clemson University she also received her Master’s degree in Human Resource Development.

Brett Winslow appointed as the President and the CEO of DESIGNA US



On behalf of DESIGNA Access Corporation (“DESIGNA”), we are pleased to announce the appointment of Brett Winslow to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of DESIGNA, the wholly-owned US subsidiary of the global parking access and revenue control systems provider, DESIGNA Verkehrsleittechnik GmbH.

Mr. Winslow will commence his appointment on March 1, 2024.

Brett joins the company from his previous position as Director of Operations at ABM Aviation Landside-West.

This appointment follows the retirement announcement of John Curtiss, the current President and Chief Executive Officer of the company.

Brett will be based in our new Head Office located at 5050 Westway Park Blvd., Suite 175,  Houston, TX 77041, following DESIGNA’s recent relocation to that address.
