City of Omaha, Nebraska, Partners with ParkMobile to Expand Digital Parking Payment Solutions

 

ParkMobile will soon be available in close to 10,000 parking spots around Omaha.

 

 


Omaha, NE – May 30, 2023 – ParkMobile, the leading provider of smart parking and mobility solutions in North America and part of the EasyPark Group, is expanding in Omaha, Nebraska, as the city broadens its mobile parking payment options. In early June, the ParkMobile app will be available for on-demand parking in almost 10,000 on- and off-street spaces throughout Omaha. Once launched, ParkMobile can be accessed by entering the zone number posted on nearby signage directly into the app. ParkMobile also offers event parking in Omaha via the Park Omaha reservations platform.

With Covid-19 travel restrictions easing throughout the world, the air travel industry has seen demand steadily increase, reaching near pre-pandemic levels. Means will serve as Executive Vice President of Municipal and Commercial, focusing on territory growth and the development and implementation of new technologies to benefit parking clients and end users.

Means is a Certified Administrator of Public Parking (CAPP) and serves as Chair of the International Parking and Mobility Institute (IPMI) Board of Directors. He will play an integral part in the upcoming IPMI Parking and Mobility Conference and Expo beginning June 11 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Prior to joining the Lexington Parking Authority, Means oversaw Central Parking System of Kentucky, Inc. as General Manager where he managed over 100 employees and 50 locations. He increased their bottom line by 48% in his first three years and added thirteen new properties. Means is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University. He and his wife Melissa have two children and three grandchildren.

Morial Convention Center announced a new partnership with ParkMobile, the leading provider of smart parking and mobility solutions in North America and part of the EasyPark Group. As a result of this new partnership, event attendees and guests to the Convention Center can now reserve and pay for parking before their visit via ParkMobile’s online parking reservations and digital payment platform. Users can also pay for parking onsite through the ParkMobile app.

HERMOSA BEACH, Calif., May 18, 2023  — ParkMobile, the leading provider of smart parking and mobility solutions in North America and part of the EasyPark Group, is expanding into Hermosa Beach, California. ParkMobile is the first and only mobile parking payment provider in town alongside the City’s current metered payment options, with debit or credit card and coin payment options available at all spaces.
