City of Omaha, Nebraska, Partners with ParkMobile to Expand Digital Parking Payment Solutions

 

ParkMobile will soon be available in close to 10,000 parking spots around Omaha.

 

 


Omaha, NE – May 30, 2023 – ParkMobile, the leading provider of smart parking and mobility solutions in North America and part of the EasyPark Group, is expanding in Omaha, Nebraska, as the city broadens its mobile parking payment options. In early June, the ParkMobile app will be available for on-demand parking in almost 10,000 on- and off-street spaces throughout Omaha. Once launched, ParkMobile can be accessed by entering the zone number posted on nearby signage directly into the app. ParkMobile also offers event parking in Omaha via the Park Omaha reservations platform.

With Covid-19 travel restrictions easing throughout the world, the air travel industry has seen demand steadily increase, reaching near pre-pandemic levels. That increase has also had a positive impact on airport parking operations. With this, Concord Parking is pleased to announce that after a two-year suspension of service due to the pandemic, its YVR jetSet Valet service is back up and running.

YVR’s jetSet Valet service was initially launched in March 2019, and quickly became a first-choice parking option for travelers. With amenities such as vehicle readiness, luggage assistance, and shuttle service, jetSet Valet is the perfect option for those seeking the personal touch and convenience of a premium airport valet service.

New Orleans, LA – Today, the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center announced a new partnership with ParkMobile, the leading provider of smart parking and mobility solutions in North America and part of the EasyPark Group. As a result of this new partnership, event attendees and guests to the Convention Center can now reserve and pay for parking before their visit via ParkMobile’s online parking reservations and digital payment platform. Users can also pay for parking onsite through the ParkMobile app.

With ParkMobile’s approximately forty-five million users across North America, the integration of the mobile app reservations offering at the NOENMCC will now provide a consistent user experience for conference attendees traveling from across the country. Moorestown, NJ —  The City of Minneapolis launched the newest version of its white-labeled mobile parking payment app, the MPLS Parking App, in just 6 short weeks after extending its partnership with Flowbird, a global leader in curbside management and urban mobility solutions. The upgraded app replaces the previous version and now offers enhanced user experience and feature-rich capabilities.

The new MPLS Parking App officially launched on April 16th and covers approximately 9,500 City-owned parking spaces. Designed as a true mobility app, the MPLS Parking App features a map-based user interface, integrated with navigation systems to guide users to their preferred parking location. Each unique parking space is plotted on the map, with hours of enforcement, restrictions and rates clearly displayed upon selection, as well as clearly indicated special event rate zones for venues such as US Bank Stadium and Target Field. Users can easily pay for parking from their mobile device, receive push or email notifications when time is about to expire, and extend their time without having to visit a parking meter. The app even has a ‘Find My Car’ feature which guides users back to their parked vehicle.

The new version of the app is also complemented with a convenient web portal option. Users now have the same in-app experience by logging into their account via their preferred browser and completing their parking transaction. This added feature is crucial to ensure all drivers have equal accessibility to remotely pay for parking in Minneapolis.

The City of Minneapolis began looking for a new MPLS Parking App provider at the end of 2022 when the previous vendor’s contract was coming to an end. Through a rigorous procurement process, Flowbird was selected as the new vendor that would fulfill the vision for the upgraded MPLS Parking App.

On March 8th, 2023, the contract to begin the new MPLS Parking App’s development was signed, and in just 6 short weeks, all user accounts were transferred, and the new app launched in Minneapolis on April 16th, 2023. The successful app development turnaround is among the fastest that the industry has seen.

Indianapolis, IN – May 8th, 2023: Parker Technology unveiled a new brand campaign last quarter, as a reflection of the company’s transformation over the last several years to a technology-led services company, reliant on both people and technology to deliver an excellent customer experience. Parker will continue investing in its high-quality service and will continue driving innovation into its software platform, all to be more valuable to its customers and to bridge the gap between parkers and parking automation when there is confusion or issues arise. Parker’s new look and feel are representative of its commitment to innovation and vision of being the industry’s customer experience solution of choice.

 

Following the re-launch of its software platform (Delta) in 2020, Parker Technology shifted its focus from solely providing intercom call center service, to licensing its software platform to other parking call centers that needed a workflow management platform, as well as, providing hybrid service for parking operators who wanted to answer their own calls part-time and roll-over calls to Parker’s customer care center part-time. Additionally, because of the enhancements provided with the re-launch of Delta, Parker has released several new innovations: API integrations with FLASH, TIBA, Ocra and Amano ONE, a suite of mobile products (Mobile Queue and Mobile Endpoint) and Translation and Text-to-Pay feature functionality.

The brand refresh was officially released at Parking Industry Expo the week of March 27th and has since been incorporated into all aspects of Parker Technology’s marketing strategy.

 

Elements of Parker Technology’s brand refresh include:

 

  • New Logo: As one of the most recognizable and representative elements of the brand, it was long-overdue for Parker’s logo to get a refresh. The new logo features a subtle “P” and “T.” This not only depicts Parker Technology, but it also represents the fusion of both people + technology as integral parts of the Parker Technology solution.

 

  • New Brand Colors: In addition to the logo, the colors have been altered slightly, with the shift from the bright sky-blue accent to a more muted grey-blue, depicting maturity and trust. Additionally, orange is no longer part of the color-palette. Instead, neutrals (white and dark grey) are used to evoke quality, neutrality, and authenticity.

 

  • New Domain: To mitigate any confusion around the company’s identity, the website domain has also changed to match the company’s name: parkertechnology.com.

 

  • New Mission Statement: To optimize customer experience and revenue for our clients, and their customers, by providing a workflow platform and outsourced exception handling to manage operations more efficiently.
