– U.S. Army Veteran Promoted After Five Years with Leading Concrete Waterproofing Company –

HENRICO, Va., – Alchemco, a world leader in innovative and long-term concrete waterproofing systems, is proud to announce the promotion of Ed Easton to the role of Director of Operations. Easton has been with Alchemco for more than five years, previously serving as Director of Technical & Warranty, making him the ideal candidate to oversee the company’s high-level operational needs.

Easton’s new responsibilities include broad oversight and leadership of Alchemco’s manufacturing, inventory control, material purchasing, global shipping and logistics, vendor relations, quality control and safety protocols. The U.S. Army veteran was the clear frontrunner to lead the company’s operational needs based on his success in his previous role and natural leadership abilities.

“Ed brings an incredibly strong foundation to the role of Director of Operations, and we look forward to seeing how he helps elevate our company to the next level,” said Alchemco CEO Mario Baggio. “He possesses a wealth of insight and expertise in both our products and the industries we serve, and we’re confident he will help Alchemco achieve even greater efficiencies and heightened customer service in this new capacity.”

Originally developed more than 45 years ago, Alchemco’s unique technology has positioned the company as the dominant world leader in long-term concrete waterproofing systems that protect for decades … not years. Its products have been proven to help building owners avoid ongoing maintenance issues and structural problems typical of concrete structures, such as corrosion, spalling and carbonation. Compared to competing products, Alchemco’s waterproofing systems help owners save on application labor as well as the volume of materials needed to waterproof a structure, while offering long-term protection.

Alchemco’s DuraTite Temporary Roof System Proving Invaluable to Construction Industry as Supply Chain Issues Delay Roofing Materials

Alchemco’s Temporary Roof System Allows Workers to Proceed

with Interior Construction Without Fear of Leaks

HENRICO, Va.  – Alchemco, a world leader in innovative concrete waterproofing systems, has introduced a revolutionary new product that is helping to alleviate troublesome construction delays as a result of ongoing supply chain issues. With the delivery of roofing materials being delayed in many cases six to nine months, the company’s new DuraTite Temporary Roof System is allowing construction workers to confidently proceed with interior construction work while they await the arrival of the permanent roofing materials.

Alchemco’s DuraTite product line is known industry-wide as a best-in-class waterproofing and surface protection solution, whether the need is to plug an existing construction leak or lay new concrete. The company’s new Temporary Roof System takes that several steps further, providing a very quick and inexpensive way for concrete roof decks to be ‘dried in’ for up to a year so framers, electricians, plumbers, and other construction workers can continue work inside the building while they wait for permanent roofing materials to arrive.

“Alchemco is proud to have developed an effective solution that is proving invaluable for the construction industry considering lengthy material delays,” said Alchemco CEO Mario Baggio. “Our DuraTite Temporary Roof System allows critical building projects to proceed to the next phase while workers await necessary roofing materials, so they can stay on schedule. We’re pleased to serve as a solution provider for the construction industry, not only while supply chain issues continue to disrupt their workflow, but as their go-to waterproofing products that promise to extend the life of any construction project.”

In addition to the new DuraTite Temporary Roof System, the product line includes Crystalline Admix to effectively blocks the passage of water when added to concrete or mortar; DuraTite Foundation which blocks water when applied to the surface and ensures permanent water tightness; DuraTite Plug, a fast-acting hydraulic cement plug that stops actively-flowing water so leaks can be repaired; and DuraTite Repair Mortar, a quick-setting, ready-to-use repair mortar for vertical and overhead applications.

Originally developed more than 45 years ago, Alchemco’s unique technology has positioned the company as the dominant world leader in concrete waterproofing systems. Its products have been proven to help building owners avoid ongoing maintenance issues and structural problems typical of concrete structures, such as corrosion, spalling and carbonation. Compared to competing products, Alchemco’s waterproofing systems help owners save on application labor as well as the volume of materials needed to waterproof a structure, while protecting the concrete structure for decades.

Leading Concrete Waterproofing Company Alchemco Launches Concentrated Version of Accelerating Agent with Environmental Impact in Mind New Concentrated Version Will Help Reduce Use of Plastic and Transportation Emissions

HENRICO, VA  – Alchemco, a world leader in innovative concrete waterproofing systems, is pleased to announce the availability of a more concentrated version of its ACR® Accelerating Agent. This newlydeveloped offering was motivated by the company’s desire to become even more environmentally friendly as it grows and expands into markets across the globe; with the new concentrate reducing its use of plastic pails by thousands annually, as well as reducing emissions because of a smaller transportation footprint.

Alchemco’s ACR® Accelerating Agent is an acetic-based solution designed to be used as part of the award winning TechCrete 2500 Waterproofing System, as well as the with its CretePro and BridgeDECK Waterproofing Systems. It decreases the time needed for the innovative waterproofing gel to form below the surface of the concrete. It also expedites the sealing and waterproofing of both existing and future cracks in the concrete slab, providing ‘decades long’ protection for exposed concrete structures.

“The development of this highly-concentrated version of our Accelerating Agent represents the next step inAlchemco’s quest to not only provide exceptional products, but to deliver them in a manner that is environmentally-responsible without compromising quality or performance,” said Alchemco CEO Mario Baggio. “This is a natural progression in our product development, and we’re proud to deliver on a concept that achieves the same effective results in a way that is friendlier to the environment.”

Alchemco continues to focus on its proprietary waterproofing formulas, originally developed over 45 years ago, to help position the company as a world leader in concrete waterproofing systems. By using its unique technology, promoting the use of ‘factory trained’ Certified Applicators, and providing industry-wide education, Alchemco products are able to help owners avoid many of the ongoing maintenance, and structural problems that t ypically affect reinforced concrete structures, such as corrosion, spalling and carbonation.

Compared to the use of competing product offerings by other manufacturers, Alchemco’s waterproofing systems help owners save on the amount of labor required to apply them (less expensive, and shorter down time) … save on the volume of materials needed to waterproof a structure (far fewer empty pails or drums to take to the landfill) … while protecting the concrete structure a significantly longer period of time (several decades).

ALCHEMCO’S TECHCRETE 2500® WATERPROOFING AGENT EARN NOTICE OF APPROVAL FROM MIAMI-DADE COUNTY BUILDING DEPARTMENT

ALCHEMCO’S TECHCRETE 2500® WATERPROOFING AGENT EARN NOTICE OF APPROVAL FROM MIAMI-DADE COUNTY BUILDING DEPARTMENT

Richmond, VA – On May 13, 2021 Alchemco’s TechCrete 2500® Waterproofing Agent was granted a Notice of Approval from Miami-Dade County Building Department.

The Miami-Dade County’s Product Control Approval System is a renowned high standard testing that establishes an excellent protocol to assess building products. Further, the products are approved and designed to comply with the building code including the High Velocity Hurricane Zone which means that rigorous tests were carried out to determine the quality of the products before it can earn Notice of Approval.

As per Mario Baggio, CEO of Alchemco, “Receiving an NOA from Miami-Dade County Building Department is an achievement. They are known internationally for giving high standard processes and thorough assessments. It’s difficult to receive approval, that’s why we are very glad to be in partnership with Miami- Dade in providing prime services to our valued customers.” Alchemco is committed to provide a solution with a unique technology that has proven its waterproofing capabilities for over 40 years.

What makes Alchemco TechCrete 2500® Unique?

In early February of 2020, Alchemco’s TechCrete 2500® was voted as “Most Innovative Product during the World of Concrete Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada. It marked one of the company’s achievements over the past 40 years of providing world-class service. What makes TechCrete 2500® different from other waterproofing products is its one-of-a-kind formula that penetrates below the surface of the concrete to create a continuous barrier against long-term water entry and enhances concrete durability. Alchemco’s TechCrete 2500® allows calcium silicate gel to form within the pores, cracks, and capillaries to continually reactivate barriers and seal future cracks for sustainable protection.

Moreover, TechCrete 2500® is easier and faster to apply than any traditional waterproofing products you can find in the market. It is designed to seal existing 2mm non-structural cracks watertight and seals future 0.4mm non-structural cracks. Thus, it is a cost-effective solution that protects the concrete through the highest level of performance.

TechCrete 2500® High-Class Performance Over 40 Years

Concretes have an impression to be the most durable and widely used construction material. Apparently, because of weather and traffic, concrete can deteriorate over time. However, Alchemco’s TechCrete 2500® is well-proven in delivering high-class performance around the globe throughout the years. It has been protecting a wide range of exposed concrete structures since 1975. Over the past 40 years, this product has been a great choice for clients who wants an affordable long-term solution to preserve, protect, and waterproof concrete.

Alchemco: Good News for Failing US Infrastructure

Alchemco: Good News for Failing US Infrastructure

Alchemco – an acknowledged leader in concrete waterproofing systems, continues to grow its presence in the global infrastructure marketplace.

The BridgeDECK product line, is the latest addition to Alchemco’s growing array of products, designed to increase the durability and sustainability of concrete structures. Using its award-winning biochemically modified technology, Alchemco is introducing two cost effective products developed to provide 15 – 20 years of surface protection for concrete bridges … as well as a system designed to ‘fully waterproof’ the concrete matrix beneath the bridge’s surface for a minimum of 25 years.

These new BridgeDECK products: PROtectant, PROtectant Plus, and Waterproofing Agent provide long-term protection for concrete bridge surfaces, with a minimum of disruption to traffic flow – due to the fast and easy application of all three products.

“We’re thrilled to be able to offer our unique technology to the city, county, state and federal highway markets in the United States and overseas. This technology will help the U.S. and many other countries make their infrastructure last decades longer.” says Mario Baggio, Alchemco CEO.

Alchemco’s well-proven, proprietary biochemical technology has been protecting a wide range of exposed concrete structures since 1975, in over 75 countries around the globe. These products are spray-applied, and penetrate below the surface of the concrete to create a continuous barrier to moisture penetration. This technology has the unique ability to seal existing cracks in structural concrete. Preventing the water and chemicals from penetrating into the concrete helps prevent the premature deterioration of the structure. In addition to that, this formula remains reactive inside the concrete and can seal future cracks (cracks that happen after the application).

All of the state D.O.T.’s can now have an affordable long-term solution to preserve, protect and waterproof their concrete bridges and tunnels. These products are ideal for bridge construction, major highway projects and other large-scale roadway infrastructure applications.

The high level of performance provided by these materials allows Alchemco to provide an extended warranty (15 – 25 years). There is a significant advantage realized by the D.O.T.’s, by not having to repeatedly close their bridges down to traffic, in order to reapply or maintain the short-term water retardant materials they’ve used in the past.

These newly introduced BridgeDECK products are all VOC-free, with a service life of between 15 and 25 years, and are potable water safe (passed NSF-61 certification at Underwriters Laboratories).

The addition of the BridgeDeck line to the Alchemco portfolio helps maintain its leadership as an innovator in the global construction market, while helping governments to protect their country’s valuable infrastructure assets.

About Alchemco Global

Alchemco products are used on projects throughout North America, as well as on five different continents. In 2018, Alchemco acquired the formulas & assets of TechCrete, LLC. – a creator and manufacturer of superior waterproofing products that have protected concrete structures around the world for the past 40+ years in 75 countries.

One of the company’s most unique product offerings, ‘TechCrete 2500 Waterproofing Agent’ won the ‘2020 Most Innovative Product Award’ at the World of Concrete Convention in Las Vegas, NV last February.
