LAZ Parking Merges with Denver-Based
Parking Operator Alpha Park
Hartford CT – January 5, 2017 – LAZ Parking, one of the fastest growing parking companies in the United States, announced that it has merged forces with Denver-based parking operator Alpha Park. The merger will add 49 new parking garages and surface lots to the LAZ Parking family, making it one of the largest parking operators in Denver with 80 locations and over 125 employees.
Alpha Park was started in 2009 by Dan Bragassa, a parking professional with decades of experience in the Denver parking market. The deal closed on January 4, 2017, and a full transition, which will include the adoption of the LAZ brand, will occur over the first four weeks of the merger. Dan will remain with the company and lead the Denver market, serving as the Regional Vice President of Denver, working closely with Antonio DiPaolo, Senior Vice President for the LAZ Midwest Region.
“I admire the way Dan runs his company. Alpha Park offers the same level of quality, professionalism and customer service as LAZ, ensuring a smooth transition as we expand in the Denver market. Adding Alpha Park to our portfolio falls in line with our strategic goal for long-term growth and stability,” said Alan Lazowski, founder and CEO of LAZ Parking.
“Dan has successfully built his company in a way that is symbiotic to the LAZ culture, drive, and style. We feel the combination of LAZ Parking and Alpha Park in the Denver market will truly be synergistic and provide additional opportunities for our employees and drive new value for our current and prospective clients,” said Michael Kuziak, COO of LAZ Parking.
“A company with a family-oriented approach to business like LAZ will undoubtedly meet the demand for parking service in Denver with the same dedication to our customers and our employees that Alpha Park is known for. I am confident that the company I started eight years ago is in good hands,” said Dan Bragassa.
