SSF Series – our new color and power switchable LED linear stairwell fixture. Trace-Lite’s SSF LED Linear Stairwell Series features a sleek yet robust construction with an IK08 impact- tested steel housing, vandal-proof hardware and UV-stabilized polycarbonate lens. Internal switches allow the user toselect the CCT (3000K-3500K-4000K) and the power output (between 10W to 40W, depending on fixture size), providingmaximum project flexibility. The SSF is offered with a battery backup option providing 90 minutes of emergency egresslighting. Designed for stairwell applications, the SSF can be used in a wide variety of other indoor, general ambientlighting applications including schools, hospitals and stores and is the perfect choice for both new construction andretrofits.

Glendale, AZ – – Barron Lighting Group, the parent company to Trace-Lite indoor and outdoor commercial and industrial lighting, announces the addition of the WTA Series adjustable LED wallpack.

“Barron Lighting Group is thrilled to announce the newest lighting solution to our product family – the DesignLights Consortium® (DLC) PREMIUM Qualified WTA Series adjustable LED wallpack. The WTA’s unique hinged back box isolates drivers from LEDs allowing for easy access to drivers as well as includes three conduit entry points, one on the top of the fixture and two on the sides. The housing can be adjusted in 10° increments from 0° to 90° for forward throw, ideal for illuminating retail entryways, schools, medical complexes, commercial buildings, and multi-family properties,” said Heather McCune, Vice President, Sales Operations of Barron Lighting Group.

The WTA Series features a slim, compact, energy-efficient adjustable wallpack in lumen packages ranging from 3600 lumens to over 10,500 lumens and includes Type III distribution pointing down. This adjustable wallpack allows the user to aim and set the fixture from 0° (pointing down) up to 90°, allowing for light to be aimed where it is needed. The WTA has efficacies up to 133 LPW and provides over 70% energy savings compared to HID technology.

Glendale, AZ – January 31, 2020 – Barron Lighting Group, the parent company to Growlite indoor and greenhouse horticultural lighting, announces the addition of Corey Burrows to the Growlite team as Product Specialist.

“We are excited to have Corey join the Growlite team,” said Alan Tracy, President of Barron Lighting Group. “Corey has been an instrumental project leader with Barron since 2017, performing a variety of product, quoting and technical work on behalf of all brands. In his new role, Corey will immediately parlay all of this knowledge and the skills he’s acquired to provide our customers and our internal teams the high level of detail necessary to educate, drive results and secure orders.”

Reporting to the Director of Indoor Brands and New Products, Corey will be responsible for coordinating the business objectives for the Growlite product line, helping to define and serve immediate customer requirements, identifying/analyzing opportunities for new product development and cost reduction, and promoting existing products through marketing activities to drive product-line growth and profitability.

Before joining Barron, Corey studied architecture at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) and then worked in the horticultural industry for a company that designed living walls.

Glendale, AZ – January 8, 2020 – Barron Lighting Group, the parent company to Growlite indoor and greenhouse horticultural lighting, announces the addition of their plant-safe soft green LED spectrum products – the GLE-GL green LED vaportight luminaire, the GLE-S green LED exit sign, and the GLE-GL-RKU green LED retrofit kit.

“Barron Lighting Group is pleased to introduce our new soft green LED product line specifically designed for horticulture applications to provide plant-safe, green egress and task lighting – the GLE-GL green LED vaportight luminaire with optional battery backup, the GLE-S green LED exit sign, and the GLE-GL-RKU green LED retrofit kit,” said Heather McCune, Vice President, Sales Operations of Barron Lighting Group.

The GLE-GL is a task light used in grow rooms during the dark cycle allowing growers to work on plants with plant-safe green lighting. Available with a UL 924 compliant 90 minute battery backup option, the GLE-GL provides plant-safe egress lighting for grow facilities without disrupting critical photoperiod times.

The GLE-S is a code compliant exit sign which emits a plant-safe, soft green light perfect for use in grow rooms, allowing for needed life-safety compliance without risk to the grow cycle. The GLE-S is also available with a green combination exit/emergency light option.

The GLE-GL-RKU is a purpose-built LED retrofit kit for hallway lighting outside grow rooms, and can easily be added to existing general purpose lighting. Hallway lighting leaking into grow rooms can have an adverse affect on plants during the dark cycle. The plant-safe, soft green light eliminates this risk.

Available in two size configurations, the LPA-CP color and power switchable LED flat panel provides customers with ultimate flexibility while minimizing inventory by having both CCT and wattage be selectable in the field,” said Heather McCune, Vice President, Sales Operations of Barron Lighting Group.

Trace-Lite’s LPA-CP Series of adjustable backlit LED panels offers incredible performance in an energy-efficient, slim profile steel enclosure available in 2′ x 2′ and 2′ x 4′ configurations. The CCT can easily be switched between 3500K, 4000K and 5000K. The wattage can be adjusted between 20W-25W-30W for the 2′ x 2′ configuration and 30W-35W-40W for the 2′ x 4′ configuration. This series is ideal for office spaces, schools, hospitals and any indoor location that requires even illumination and lower maintenance. The LPA-CP Series is compatible with most standard T-bar grid ceilings and includes 1-10V dimming standard. Glendale, AZ – August 11, 2017 – Barron Lighting Group, the originator of the LED exit sign and brands such as Exitronix, Trace*Lite, specialtyLED and Growlite, is excited to announce the addition of Steven Ellsworth as Director of Marketing. Steven will be responsible for leading marketing and creative initiatives for the company as well as all four of its specialty brands.

“We are incredibly excited for Steven to join the Barron Lighting Group family and lead our marketing department with his extensive background in marketing, advertising and creative art direction,” says Alan Tracy, owner and president of Barron Lighting Group.

Steven holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communications from Auburn University and has over 20 years of experience developing and implementing successful marketing and advertising solutions. Most recently Steven was PreSales Creative Director at Bazaarvoice where his focus was on supporting global marketing and sales initiatives with custom creative materials. Prior to Bazaarvoice, Steven worked for 12 years at Hubbell as Marketing Communications Manager with the controls divisions.

Barron Lighting Group Announces Three New LED Flat Panels

Glendale, AZ – April 26, 2017 – Barron Lighting Group, the originator of the LED exit sign and brands such as Exitronix, Trace*Lite, specialtyLED and Growlite, announces the addition of its new LP Series of LED flat panels.

Offering incredible performance in an energy-efficient, slim-profile package, Trace*lite’s LP Series is ideal for office spaces, schools, hospitals and any indoor location that requires even illumination and lower maintenance. The LED flat panel includes 0-10V dimming standard and is available in three sizes and multiple lumen packages; 1’x4′ (LP14 Series), 2’x2′ (LP22 Series) and 2’x4′ (LP24 Series). Compatible with most standard t-bar grid ceilings, the precision die-formed aluminum housing simply lifts through grid ceilings and rests on t-bars. The Integral Driver attaches with quick-connects allowing for easy installation in new construction or retrofit. Suitable for damp locations, the LP Series has a lamp life of up to 81,000 hours with 70% lumen maintenance and can also provide path of egress emergency lighting (LEDEM). Battery backup solutions and field installable battery packs are available.
