Barron Lighting Group Appoints New Northeast Regional Vice President

 

 
Glendale, AZ – March 31, 2017 – Barron Lighting Group, the originator of the LED exit sign and brands such as Exitronix, Trace*Lite, specialtyLED and Growlite, is excited to announce the addition of Karl Zartarian as Northeast Regional Vice President. Karl will be responsible for leading sales and trainings of the independent lighting agencies servicing electrical distributors across the Northeast region.

“We are thrilled for Karl to join our team with his extensive background in product marketing, regional sales and distributor partnerships,” says Alan Tracy, owner and president of Barron Lighting Group.

Karl holds a Master of Business Administration from Radford University and a Bachelor of Science in Commerce & Engineering from Drexel University. Karl brings over 25 years of experience in sales and marketing. Karl spent the first part of his career with Crouse-Hinds based in Singapore with international sales responsibilities. Karl also spent 10-years with Hubbell Lighting in Product Marketing and Regional Sales leadership roles. He then joined Generation Brands/Sea Gull Lighting as Director for Ambiance Lighting Systems with sales and product marketing/development responsibilities. Most recently, Karl was a Channel and Key Accounts Director at Eaton/Cooper. He focused on distributor partnerships for regional and national distributors which encompassed all of Eaton’s businesses, including Eaton (Cooper) Lighting.

Glendale, AZ – March 14, 2017 – Barron Lighting Group, the originator of the LED exit sign and brands such as Exitronix, Trace*Lite, specialtyLED and Growlite, announces the addition of its new LPC LED low profile canopy series and the ALH series of LED architectural linear highbays.

The Trace*Lite LPC (low profile canopy) is an ultra slim profile 8” canopy engineered for use in compact spaces or lower mounting heights. The specially designed, UV stabilized lens optimizes visual comfort without sacrificing lighting efficacy and the robust construction allows for universal surface or pendant mounting. Schools, libraries, pharmacy drive thru lanes and truck stop sites are enhanced by optimizing the quality of light, increasing focus on tasks and creating a safer environment. The 120VAC light engine delivers 1,905 lumens while consuming only 20 watts, making it the ideal low profile and power canopy light.

Trace*Lite’s NEW ALH (architectural linear highbay) series’ slim profile is ideally suited for retail, large meeting spaces, gymnasiums, commercial and other applications that normally utilize a traditional HID or linear fluorescent highbay. Designed for mounting heights up to 50′, the ALH features precisely engineered LED light engines with diffused lens optics to deliver exceptional light quality and uniform distribution for any task. This 200 watt, 4′ luminaire produces over 25,300 lumens and is suited for high ambient temperatures up to 50°C.

Glendale, AZ – November 22, 2016 – Barron Lighting Group, the originator of the LED exit sign and brands such as Exitronix, Trace*Lite, specialtyLED and Indoor Grow Science, announces the addition of its new LHB LED highbay series and the expansion of its LED canopy series with the MC canopy.

 

The Trace*Lite MC (mini canopy) is a compact, slim 10” profile qualifying for DLC premium listing which maximizes utility rebates. The listed MC produces 4,845 lumens while consuming only 42 watts, all while dispersing an even light distribution with its specially engineered low-glare optic. Constructed of UV stabilized polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), the lens optimizes visual comfort without sacrificing lighting efficacy. This unique configuration eliminates eye strain or distraction. Attention to tasks at hand at libraries, pharmacy drive-thrus, schools, parking garages and truck stops, for example, are enhanced by optimizing the quality of light within the environment. The durable and robust MC design allows for universal surface or pendant mount. A twelve inch transition plate is available for easy retrofit of larger HID or CFL fixtures.

Trace*Lite’s NEW LHB (linear highbay) series is offered in three wattage packages: 105w (2’x2’), 200w (2’x4’) and 320w (2’x4’), delivering up to 132 LPW efficacy. The LHB3 version delivers an industry leading 43,845 lumens at only 320w! The LHB series highbay is suitable for ambient temperatures up to 55°C with an L70 of 79,000 at 55°C. The LHB series is specifiable with options such as: 347/480VAC, battery backup and occupancy controls. Applications for the LHB series include commercial, gymnasium, industrial, hospitality, manufacturing, retail, warehousing and other applications that utilize a traditional HID or linear fluorescent highbay with mounting heights up to 50’.

UL’s Data Acceptance Program allows Barron increased control over the timing and schedule for product testing and certification. Having the ability to identify non-conforming test results in-house with engineering on-site results in faster resolution. Providing UL with a complete data package at the time of submittal eliminates test time and UL turnaround time for DAP participants’ projects.

The TLED-ELB traditional louvered bollard utilizes long-life LED technology to deliver uniform illumination, superior spacing and low glare due to its highly engineered optical design. The TLED-ELB comes standard with many upgraded features. The bollard is constructed of durable extruded aluminum housing with a UV resistant powder coat finish to protect against the elements. It comes standard with 10kV surge protector and is secured with tamper-proof hardware. The LED engine is designed to deliver almost 1,000 lumens. This bollard is built to last, UL listed for wet applications and is also offered in a specially engineered High Abuse configuration built with a reinforced internal structure to withstand maximum abuse.

The TLED-ELB bollards are perfect for applications which include lighting pedestrian walkways, retail entryways, as well as lighting sidewalks around schools, medical complexes, retail entrances, park/ recreational paths, office buildings, and multi-family properties.

The SURF is an economical, commercial grade solution for your LED architectural accent lighting needs. By providing optics within the Eco-friendly UV Resistant flexible PVC housing, the SMD5050 LEDs far exceed the output of standard ribbon flex and deliver the highest performance (274lm/ft) available on the market today.

With its slim profile that allows indirect installation in tight spaces, the Surf is perfect for use in cove lighting, borders, bridges, gazebos, signage, and even marina or fountain applications with its optional IP68 submersible rating. The Surf is highly efficient at only 3.6w/ft or less, and is dimmable with 0-10V dimming drivers. The SURF can be installed as a solid run up to 65’ for large indoor or outdoor commercial jobs, with either IP65 or IP68 rating. The Wave is the latest architectural flexible border tube offering additional flexibility to your creative designs with its back-to-front bending orientation. Corners and angles can now be installed seamlessly due to its flexible PVC housing that is virtually indestructible.

The Wave’s flexible PVC housing can conform to almost any angle and is virtually unbreakable. It is available in red, blue, green and several color temperatures of white as well as RGB. This energy efficient LED product consumes 3.4W/ft or less, saving up to 70% or more over traditional neon with uniform lighting and no “hotspots”. The National Sales manager was sought to architect the firm’s national growth strategies with new and existing customers, which was a perfect fit for Mr. Bernhardt. His prior history includes over 30 years of lighting industry experience from companies such as GE, Philips, Rexel and managing a rep agency. Rich will still reside in Albany, New York with his wife and six children and will be traveling to and from headquarters in Glendale, Arizona twice a month.

Michael Martinez has been with Barron for almost eight years and held positions in the warehouse, technical support and as an account manager. Martinez has built up a solid foundation of product and industry knowledge and has a history of tremendous customer account growth. As the new Midwest Regional vice president, Michael will operate out of Glendale, AZ where he resides with his future wife and daughter who will be graduating high school this year. He will be spending most of his time in the territory to include North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky and parts of Pennsylvania.

Claudia Campeau has been with Barron for almost two years and went from the Exitronix Product specialist to the Trace*Lite Product manager in the last year and will now become the Trace*Lite Brand manager. Campeau started in the lighting industry 10 years ago in the specification grade outdoor lighting sector while working at Philips Lumec, followed by Lumenpulse for two years. The Trace*Lite Brand manager is responsible for managing the Trace*Lite brand, from the product planning, brand positioning and go-to market strategies. Claudia is originally from Montreal, Quebec and now resides in Glendale, AZ with her husband and dog Rocky.
